Author has written 4 stories for Humor, Romance, and General.

Hi, I'm Kate. I use a pen name on this site, although for those who know me IRL, it's a pretty obvious one. My mother's side of the family would be appalled to know that I am using their name to write stories about manipulative hookers. :D

My favorite colors are black, navy blue, and yellow. This is generally how my stories look, too.

Blind World - This story is also based on a writing prompt from Jenny. I wasn't expecting to publish anything on this site for a very long time, since I've mostly been writing poetry and I've never used this site for poetry, but I thought I'd share this with anybody who would like to read it.

38 Minutes - This story is based on a picture that my friend Jenny gave to me as a writing prompt. It's not long, but I thought I'd show it to you.

Dodging Questions, Yours and Mine - Thank you to those who stuck through all 20 chapters with me. It means a lot to me. Definitely not my best work, though. That I'll grant you, people who dropped out after a little bit.

Smells and the Salt of the Earth - This sounds like I'm nagging, but those of you who read this, please review it. It has more than 300 hits and one review (granted, that one review is probably my most loyal reader ever, thank you, xenolith!).

I am working on a new story about a man who has too many secrets and a young woman who may have too few. However, I've told myself that I won't post anything until it is completely finished, so it may be a good, long while. I'm taking my time with this one, because if I don't, I can almost guarantee that it will suck, just because the subject matter is exactly of that type.

I removed The Thorn Mimosa as it has been selected for publication by a local magazine and I signed away the publication rights to it. Thank you so much to those of you who read it before it was given its due credit.
