Author has written 13 stories for Romance, and Action. My avatar picture is Swan at Sterling Lake, which you may recognize from my story "Catching the Black Widow." Sterling Lake is one of my favorite places. Unfortunately, Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore. I can no longer run my story ideas by Swan for his/her approval. Swan warned me that The Black Widow wouldn’t be too popular, but he/she loved the ending I had in mind, so I went ahead with the story. I expected some harsh reviews on the Letters story. Since they aren't forthcoming, I'll criticize myself. 1. You copied this story from a movie. A. You got me. I'll admit the plot is similar. Ever since seeing the movie, "The Lake House," I've wanted to do a Lake House type story. What I need is a new story before my loyal readers (all six of them) forget I'm writing. This was supposed to be a joke. It's no longer funny. From a high of over 9000 hits a month when "The Tutor From Hell" was going strong, I've fallen down near 200 this month. Has my writing gotten that bad? I think my present story, "Flight of the Beast," will be as good as The Tutor, provided I follow my scene by scene outline correctly. Even without many readers, I'll continue the story for my own enjoyment. |
