Author has written 10 stories for Romance.
My avatar picture is Swan at Sterling Lake, which you may recognize from my story "Catching the Black Widow." Sterling Lake is one of my favorite places. Unfortunately, Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore. I can no longer run my story ideas by Swan for his/her approval. Swan warned me that The Black Widow wouldn’t be too popular, but he/she loved the ending I had in mind, so I went ahead with the story.
I expected some harsh reviews on the Letters story. Since they aren't forthcoming, I'll criticize myself.
1. That was a lousy way to end it.
A. Maybe I should have added more of a 'happy ever after' and ended it there, but I wanted to end with the possibility of another Samuel story.
2. You copied this story from a movie.
A. You got me. I'll admit the plot is similar. Ever since seeing the movie, I've wanted to do a Lake House type story. If you haven't seen it, you might want to rent the movie "The Lake House." Warning: There are no murders, no sex scenes, no computer generated action stunts, so you can sleep thru it if you want.
What I need is a new story before my loyal readers (all six of them) forget I'm writing. After a trash can filled with rejected story starts, we finally have a winner. As it turns out, that announcement was a bit premature. The new story needs more work, like a completely different chapter one.
