I suppose you’re wondering about my avatar. You’re not? Well, I’ll tell you about it anyway. My avatar picture is of Swan at Sterling Lake, which you may recognize from my story "Catching the Black Widow." Sterling Lake is a real place and one of my faves. Unfortunately, Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore. I can no longer run my story ideas by Swan for his/her approval. Swan warned me that The Black Widow wouldn’t be too popular, but he/she loved the ending, so I went ahead with the story.
I expected some harsh reviews on the Letters story. Since they aren't forthcoming, I'll criticize myself.
1. That was a lousy way to end it.
A. Maybe I should have added more of a 'happy ever after' on to chapter 6 and ended it there, but I wanted to end with the possibility of another Samuel story.
2. You copied this story from a movie.
A. You got me. I'll admit the plot is similar. Ever since seeing the movie, I've wanted to do a Lake House type story. If you haven't seen it, you might want to rent the movie "The Lake House." Warning: There are no murders, no sex scenes, no computer generated action stunts, so you can sleep thru it if you want.
