Author has written 2 stories for Sci-Fi.
An aspiring English teacher and avid video game enthusiast, Mr. Bates hopes to make some sort of mark for himself during his lifetime and eventually came to the conclusion that literature would be his outlet. Claiming adjectival ownership to eccentric and aberrant, he is an eclectic amalgamation of nerd, geek, and philosopher essence. His foremost accurate description is as follows:
"He is to the Internet what indie is to music."
By and large, Mr. Bates' most favorite hobby is holding intelligent conversations with new people. Beyond that, most of his time is spend enjoying music (indie genre, no less), playing video games, and finding new works of literature or film to get immersed in. He is known to get into very deep discussions and debates over both simple things and metaphysical anomalies. Eventually, most of his time boils down to simply being near the ones he loves, and with them mocking the arrogance of others.
The Scalpel Project is Mr. Bates' personal story, and will probably need to be completely overhauled were it to become publishable.
The Reaper's Lyceum is Mr. Bates' newest story, and will hopefully be a lot easier to complete than The Scalpel Project.
Lastly, Mr. Bates would like it to be known that nothing else outside of this profile will be written in the third person.
