Author has written 4 stories for General, Love, and Life.

I know I said I was going to post the rest of that short story, but I read over it again, today and had a change of heart...I just think it needs waaay more tweaking. So I'll probably post the rest sometime later, after I've beat it up with another editing round.

Self-Acknowledged Problems of Mine to Look Out For (or, ways to help me not suck):

I'm not experienced enough nor am I where I want to be, writing-wise. I just signed up for my second creative writing class for my fall semester at college, and this is good practice for the summer. I can overindulge in writing--provide more plot and/or details than necessary, and I can definitely get melodramatic if left unchecked. With this already in mind, I'm constantly trying to improve, and if you catch me straying into the stuff of made-for-television-movies instead of dark comedic relationships or whatever, let me know! And if you think you've got a tip or two, I'm ready to hear it!

Me, Reviewing Your Stuff

Yep, I want to do it! We can help each other get better :D Constructive criticism for anything I read, I promise (with the exception of autobiographical issues--I like fiction & like to write fiction, i.e., nothing serious that has actually happened personally to me. Some people like to write to release, and I get that. If it's 'based on a true story' in any way, and it's heavy, I'm probably not going to leave a review, and you probably don't want me to review it, anyway).

Interested in keeping wildly obsure words from extinction? Save words like 'plegnic' from becoming archaic. Or just throw it around in conversation with normal people and make yourself sound like a douchebag. Either way, wait for the site to load and go look at those endangered words, they're pretty neat. :D

Nine times out of ten our hearts just get dissolved.
Well I want a better place or just a better way to fall...
But one time out of ten, everything is perfect for us all.

The Death of Rick Reilly reviews
Three sisters have been slowly driven to a depressingly reclusive lifestyle. The dysfunctional situation comes to a head with the death of a realityTV star and a rare guest to the home. Strong alcohol usage, mild swearing. Part two of four.

Slinging Mud
A short experiment with that sing-songy poetry style. Light-hearted piece of fluff about having fun with dirt. Despite the final lines, I do endorse showering.

The Black Pearl Earrings reviews
Rated M for dark themes, although it could possibily be a T. I'm playing it safe. This is about clinical depression, how it runs in and ruins families, and ultimately, choosing to fight for the right to happiness. Short one-shot for an old contest.
