All submissions found here take place in or around the town of Oakrot, Pennsylvania.

What started out as a small lumber camp in the late 19th century, Oakrot has grown into a modest town - home to 30,000 people.

The town got it's name not due to an actual outbreak of the fungus, but as a deterrent from 'outsiders' joining their locale.

Oakrot has become somewhat infamous for the large amounts of incidents taking place within its borders. Reports of disappearances, murder, kidnappings, supernatural or otherwise unexplainable happenings date back to the foundation of the town itself - and have continued on all they way up to today.
