Name: Amber
Age: you never ask a lady her age
Current Residence: my room, in a house, in the middle of nowhere, in the US
Interests: Reading, writing (poetry&prose), drawing, gaming, singing, dancing, anime/manga, mythology (around the world)
Favorite Genre(s): Mythology, fantasy, sci-fi, and horror
Favorite Quote(s): "We are each of us angels with only one wing and we can only fly by embracing each other."--Luciano de Crescenzo,
"The devil is an angel too."--Miguel de Unamuno, "Men always want to be a woman's first love. Women have a more subtle instinct: What they like is to be a man's last romance."--Oscar Wilde, "The heart has its reasons that reason knows nothing of."--French proverb

I never know what to in my profile on any sites I join so I just ramble mostly.
My PenName is self-explanatory. Or at least I think it is: I'm a little bit freaky and a little bit geeky.

I'm a Gemini, which means I'm very versatile, prone to moodiness, free-spirited, and happy-go-lucky. I'm also given to bouts of laziness and I don't like sitting still very long. Like my element, wind/air, I'm also given to changing my mind and my opinions on a whim.
Ever heard of the "duality of human nature"? This means all humans have a capacity for good or ill, they just have to choose which path to trod. Being a Gemini means I have a dual personality, meaning I can be a sweetheart one minute and a demon the next. I try my best to be nice to everyone: as long as you are nice to me, I will be nice to you.

I love Angelology (the study of angels) but I only have one book on the subject (a very kind friend gave it to me). My archangel is Raphael, angel of healing and air.

I've loved vampires since I can remember (would a study of them be Vampirology?) and have a very large, thick book about them. But, please, no one ask me if I like Meyer's works. I've read part of the first and I honestly thought it was silly.
Sparkling vampires? Just say "no".
Well, excuse me, I think a fan of hers once told me they "shimmer", not "sparkle". Whatever you want to call it, it's...well, in my opinion, idiotic. Original, but I have no affection for it.
If anyone reading this is a Twilight fan, I mean no offense, I am merely stating my opinion. We are all entitled to our own opinions and I am actually friends with several people who love the Twilight series so please do not flame me as I mean you no ill-will.

Hmm...I'm moving on for my sake because even as I say I intend no harm, there are many people out there who take offense at the smallest of things and want to tear apart people who have an opinion that isn't the same as theirs. Twilight fans aren't the only ones guilty of this though so I shall leave it at that.

I love video-games, my favorites are the Legacy of Kain series, Devil May Cry 1-3, and Elderscrolls III: Morrowind. I also love the Final Fantasy games, though I'm no huge fan of FFX-2, and my favorites are FFVII, VIII, and IX.

I love drawing too. I've loved drawing since I could hold a pencil but I'm not superb.
But I'm not completely talentless either. I do well enough to amuse myself.
I could be really spectacular but I don't have the attention-span for it.
If I take my time, I can make masterpieces and have made a few which I have given to family or friends.

I love the "Predator" movies and have adored those aliens since I first laid eyes on them. I actually wanted one as a pet though, in hindsight, I don't think one should keep a Yaut'ja as a pet. He might decide you'd make a good trophy.

Anway, enough rambling. If you read all this, brava. Give yourself a round of applause for being able to tolerate my ramblings.
