Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my profile page and to all of you who have marked either me or my stories as favorites and have kept checking back here to see if I have more stories up. I am 21 years old, living in Idaho. I like writing fanfics, but I like to have original stories of my own ideas.
I am so glad so many of you have taken the time to read my stories. I am sorry I haven't updated in forever, but you know how things get in the way. However, as thanks for your patience with the slow stream of updates.
I would love reviews and normally I respond too, especially if you have a suggestion. Be honest, but considerate. If you don't like a story, let me know, but offer advice on how to make it better. Suggestions all around I will consider.
I enjoy poems, but they aren't my main focus and if you scroll down you will encounter full-length, completed stories.
Books: Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, Harry Potter series by J.K.Rowling, Inkheart by Cornelia Funke, Annie, Between the States by Elliot, The Hunger Games and Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, Sea Change by Aimee Friedman, The Scarlet Letter, Antigone

I love reading and music. Country, father/daughter, soundtracks, or anything with a good message for music. Mystery, fiction, good plot, romance, for stories. It was on a short story English assignment that really got me interested in starting to write stories on my own when I saw how much fun I had in creating the plot and characters. I am a fan of love stories and mermaids, among others, hence the penname.
"But writers are an ornery lot, and apt to run off in the oddest directions when you givethem an idea." - Bruce Coville
"Childhood is not from birth to a certain age and at a certain age the child is grown, and puts away childish things. Childhood is the kingdom where nobody dies." - Edna St. Vincent Millay
"Shoot for the moon, even if you fall short, you will land among the stars." - Gil Steinke
"Some say the earth will end in fire, some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if I had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate to say that for destruction ice is also great and would suffice." - Robert Frost
"If you are a dreamer, come in If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, A Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer, If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire For we have some flax golden tales to spin Come in! Come in!" - Shel Silverstein
"Some would say being a writer is a gift from God. But I never asked for this. It sorta just happened when I picked up a pencil and wrote words on paper." - K.T.B.
"A poet is an unhappy being Whose heart is torn by secret sufferings, But whose lips are so strongly formed That when the sighs and cries escape them, They sound like beautiful music."- Unknown

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
getting HIGH meant swinging at a playground
the worst thing you could get from a boy was COOTIES
'MOM' was your hero
and DAD was the boy you were going to marry?
when your WORST ENEMIES were your little siblings
and RACE ISSUES were about who could run fastest?
when WAR was a card game
and LIFE was SIMPLE and CAREFREE?
remember when all you wanted to do
WAS GROW UP?
I love both of those poems; they ring so true and strong for me. Be patient, but don't hide. Live up to your full potential. Sieze the Day/Carpe Dium is also very good.
I will try to get fictions up as soon as possible, I am gaining more and more ideas, but need time I don't have. When I start a story, however, I like to finish it quickly and see it through, so they should be completed and updated quickly. I write whenever I get an idea, the mood hits, and I have time. However, I don't like to post stories incomplete because I like to know they are finished and consistent to the story to my satisfaction, and sometimes, though hopefully rarely now, there are long breaks between when I write more on a story. Hopefully now that summer has hit I'll be updating much more. Tips or such about anything in general are welcomed.
Thanks for being patient; keep enjoying and reviewing the stories I do have up and be sure to check out my same profile of fan-based works on fanfiction!
Thank you to RosePetal22 for some of these quotes!
YOU KNOW YOU'RE AN AUTHOR IF...
You talk to yourself a lot.
You talk to yourself about talking to yourself.
You talk about yourself a lot. (Its called being self conceded)
When you talk to yourself you often talk to yourself like you're talking to someone else.
After uttering a profound peice of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand with awe and say, "Wow,this stuff is great for sugar highs...'
You live off of sugar and caffeine
You'll check your e-mail every day of the week and then disappear off the face of the earth.
You're e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.
When replying to an e-mail, you'll never actually address the point of it.
You tend to collect Bic Stics off the ground like picking pennies off the ground.
No matter where you are in a room you never have to get up to find a pen/pencil and paper.
The letters on your keyboard are wearing off.
Your friends and family think that you have carpal tunnel syndrome.
People think you have A.D.D.
You think it'd be cool to have A.D.D.
You constantly start talking in third person, present or past tense.
You start thinking about making lists like this and start giggling for no "apparent" reason
Your friends stopped looking at you funny for no apparent reason a loooooong time ago.
And FINALLY, the one way to tell if you're a good writer: You failed English 101.
