So, my screen name is scharlie18 (obviously), but you don't have to call me scharlie18. You can drop the 18. You can even drop the 's'. Or the 'c', the 'h', the 'a'. Heck, drop all the letters and just greet me with a 'hey.' I really don't care.

I am female. In addition to writing, I read. Yup, I have a huge list of favorites.

So, basic info:

Hobbies: photography, psychology, reading, writing, teasing people.

Music: My fav genre is rock. I listen to a lot of rock. I'm a huge Billy Joel fan, and I really like music where I have no idea what they're saying. I don't mean lyrics like R.E.M where you understand the words, you just don't get the lyrics. I mean music in other languages, like Juanes (he won a grammy for his last album!), who is Colombian. I don't really speak spanish (just enough to pick up on the occasional word or phrase), but I love him anyways. I love the iTunes free songs. Every week, I go to the iTunes store and check what they are, listen to the previews, and maybe download the songs. I've gotten some suprisingly good music that way. Like Orianthi's 'According to You' (which I heard on the radio the other day), and this amazing latino rap song called 'Drivin' Steady' by Bang Data. (It starts off with the words, in English, as is most of the song, 'You're killin' her!' and a fantastically intense drum beat. Sooooo good.) I could go on all day about music, so I think I'll stop there.

Loves: Music. Writing. Good friends. Chocolate. What else is there?

Hates: The twilight movies. The whole vampire thing has gone entirely too far. And I don't find Robert Pattison sexy. At all. I loved the books. Refuse to see the movies. I also refuse to see the Harry Potter movies. I loved the books, but every time I watch a Harry Potter movie, I compare every little tiny detail to the book to the point that it ruins the movies for me. And I think Justin Bieber sounds and looks like he's 10 years old. I'm not a fan. (The only reason my friend has his songs on her iTunes is to torture me with them. I'm not even kidding.) Though, he does look much older now that he got his haircut.
