Latest News:

I know it's been some time since I've written but I'm extremely torn at the moment. I've been plagiarized, ladies and gentlemen, and I'm just not sure how I feel about this. I'm taking down all of my stories, at least for now. I'm sorry for all of my loyal readers but... I'm extremely hurt by this. If I write on a site like this again...well, I don't even know if I'll do so under this pen name or what.

About Me:

Well, I'm formally known under a pen name, Lian Bynum, though this IS a new account. I'm planning on not only rewriting my old stuff but also posting new stuff and hopefully, maybe even be able to publish some stuff.

I'm 19 and currently in college, and write in my spare time. It's always been a passion of mine and I do hope you enjoy it. :D I've literally been writing since before I even knew how to write, often presenting my mother or father with pieces of construction paper with scribble all over them and tried to force them to read my scribble stories. I've come a long way since then and I've been writing in English and not scribble since I was six years old, when I finished my first short story about Princess Mango and how she won over some prince. (It was a truly horrendous story...I don't know how my parents bore me reading it to them over and over again!!)

I really hope you like my stuff and I'd really appreciate it if you told me what you liked/didn't like about my work and how I could improve and also what I'm doing well at! It only helps me grow as a writer!

My Notes To All:

~ My style is my style. I appreciate constructive criticism but don't criticize me for being 'too cliche' or 'too unbelievable', since, personally, I'm rather OK with being thought of it and besides, that doesn't help anyone as a writer unless you were to go into detail how one is cliche and where. It's just more of an opinion than anything else. I know some of my stories are cliche and I knowingly write some of them that way because every now and then, I get in a mood to read a cliche story and I'm sure I'm not alone in that sentiment.

~ I try to reply to my reviewers and if you ask me to review your work in return, I will as soon as I can. If I don't, though, don't get offended! Most likely your message either got lost in my inbox or cyberspace ate it...my email carrier seems to just enjoy deleting emails on me! I apologize, though, and I'm grateful for any reviews and messages I receive!

~ The more reviews I get on a story, the more likely I am to defy lie's throwbacks and school work and post another chapter. :D

~ I appreciate criticism that helps me grow as a writer and I look forward to it. Often it will help me decide how to write the next chapter and it helps me catch anything I might have missed, be it plot holes or a spelling error I didn't catch before I posted the chapter. Don't be afraid to criticize but remember: authors have feelings, too and you can give criticism without ripping an author to shreds.

~ If you have any questions or comments, don't be shy! Share them! I'll be happy to answer back! It doesn't matter how stupid you might feel it sounds, I have no problem answering and besides, chances are it's not as stupid as you thought! Don't hesitate to ask about pronunciations, any plot holes you might find, discrepancies or anything else that might be confusing! I'm only human and I do make mistakes sometimes!

The Random Stuff That Is Going On:

Well, college is absolutely crazy, I'll sat that much! I will do my best though to update as much as I can to make up for it! I now have specific days for updates so check back Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for updates!

PS: Sorry about everything but this semester's really been a killer on my time. I'm trying to update as frequently as possible but everything's so sporadic and I never know how much time I'm going to have! If you really want me to update a certain story, continue sending me PMs and leaving reviews! The more interest I get in a story, the more likely I am to update it sooner than something else. If no one shows an interest, it will most likely take me longer to update it because I'm not as enthused about it and it will be whichever one I most feel like doing. So show interest and you just might see that email update about a new chapter sooner than you thought! :P
