I am a very simple, typical writer. I feel confident enough about my writing to post, but I'm not the best of the best. I write, and I write a lot.

Updates for Writing Club

Hey guys! I'm really sorry I haven't been updating due to finals and the CAHSEE. January and February will be idle, but I promise the rest of the year will be very fun!

-Advertisement: This month, I plan on promoting our club through grassroot means and commercial means. I am planning to make flyers as well as spread the word through Facebook, Twitter, etc. to get more members and supporters :)

-March--National Reading Month: Expect prizes for reading! This month is very special because it is Dr. Seuss's birthday in the course of the month. Members shall keep reading logs and I will probably hand out prizes according to hours. I plan on having reading activities and some sort of reading analysis workshop. The club could decide on a book to read and discuss at the end of the month.

-April--Poetry Month

-May-June: Since examinations are in progress, we will devote this month to making our EOTY anthology. Also, June 1 is the deadline for noveling, so NaNo writers beware!

-Also guys, remember to post a story every month! I will check up on that.

-Illustrators? The Writing Club welcomes illustrators to illustrate our stories!

Officers & Personal Reminders

-Writing Club Binder: In effort to organize our accomplishments and such, I plan on keeping a record of our activities starting March. This shall be organized by our secretary and treasurer.

-Preliminary Budget Report: Due the first week of March

-Emailing Connie about the new officers; before March

-Fundraisers and food faires? It's a rather tedious effort, but we could use some money, if I can work it all out. We will definitely have fundraisers next year.

Autumn and All Her Friends
Autumn is my favourite season. The leaves attain manifestations of wisdom with their withered, fragile skins and antique rouge colours. As exciting as this is, I realize something. This rite of passage is ephemeral, and even worse, it is cyclic.

Liberty, Hope, and Courage
The beats that wildly thump beneath the sternum dance to the rhythm of perseverance. The rhythm is neither nonchalant nor stagnant; it drums to the exciting and snazzy air of the jazzy blues. Courage seeps its soul into the timid rabbit. Appreciate.

She Was an American Girl reviews
She held her head high and proudly. A great part of her knew that she was the queen of the neighborhood and the most manipulative, most confident girl in the entire world. But she would give up her heart and freedom to fear. Perhaps redemption had stories

A selfish, rationalizing part of me wanted to stay bound to the earth by a trivial breath of life. The wintry fellow greeted me with an amiable and cool facade but I did not wish to reciprocate the sentiment. And beyond all this, I missed them very much.

A wistful voice inside of me battled for equilibrium with the pulling tenacity of progress. The murder of my spirit led to the painful consequences of my downfall. Prolonged time and distance murdered all that I cherished. But I startled myself by healing
