Hi! I'm anxiously-awaiting, and welcome to my profile!

As of right now, I'm not really working on anything too major, so don't expect anything too awesome for a while. I might put up minor stuff like poems and short stories, so keep your eyes open for that, if you really want to! As always, I'm lucky to have people actually interested in my work, and I'm always thankful for support and eager to hear advice about how to make my writing better.

:My Latest...

-song obsession: "Fluorescent Adolescent" by Arctic Monkeys! I LOVE THIS SONG. :)
-book I read: Currently reading The Awakening. For school. Edna Pontellier (the main character) is beyond annoying... bleh.
-movie I watched: Chicago. I can't believe it's taken me this long to watch it, I love it!
-T.V. show I watched: last week's Supernatural. I FREAKING LOVE THIS SEASON! :D

:A Few Favorites...

-color: red, black, silver, blue, and for some strange reason, orange.
-music: Florence + The Machine, The Beatles, Queen, Jack Johnson, Kate Nash, The Shins, and anything and everything from Broadway and Glee.
-TV: Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, South Park, The Office, That '70s Show, etc. I worship the so-called idiot box.
-books: I read every spare moment of my life. So naming favorites would do unjustice to the books that I forget to mention. :P
-authors: look at the above, and substitute "books" with "authors." There you go.
-movies: I love comedies, chick flicks, good spy/action movies, and anything Broadway. Mean Girls comes to mind. :)

:Just... About me.

I am a 16 year old girl. I am a high school senior. My family is from India. Music is a huge part of my life-I love to sing, dance, and play piano. Writing is just a hobby for me, so my work might not be perfect. I want to be someone who leaves her mark on the world by helping people- I love volunteering and putting a smile on anyone's face. I want to be a doctor when I grow up, and I hope that it becomes a reality. I am a hopeless realist, if such a thing exists. When I put my heart into something, I never give up. To me, the best part of a friendship is the journey one takes to get to know that friend. To me, the best part of a relationship is knowing that someone will always be there by your side at the very worst.
