Author has written 9 stories for Fable, Horror, Life, General, Kids, Romance, Thriller, and War.

I remember once upon a time I had a profile page filled with information; I also had at least five stories on the site. For some reason past me though it was best to take everything down. I did that so that I would actively pursue my dream of being a fiction author; it didn't work. Not only did it not work it did nothing for me. Now no one can read my work and that's a little depressing for someone like me.

I have been "writing" since grade 9.

I say I've been writing, writing in quotes, since grade 9 since that's the day that I realized what a joy it was to write; not only that but I found out the joy of reading that year as well. Previously to grade 9 I had difficulties reading and despised it. It was hard, it took forever to read something; why not just watch a movie. I thought everyone has the same problems as me. Well, not everyone; in grade 7 I was placed in a special class that was designed to help students like myself to read better. Two years after I finally picked up my first book unrelated to school: Darren Shan's "Cirque Du Freak" series. For those of you that have read the series you understand how naive a reader I was when I say that the introduction, where he said this was a true story, convinced me that the story was indeed true; That is until the second book. I found this gem of a book in grade 9 and never stopped reading the series; I almost failed because I was reading the books during class and wouldn't do my homework in place of reading.

I went a bit off track, back to the reason I put writing in quotes. I'm a bit of a perfectionist; that is, I have trouble to start writing an idea and I wont allow myself to move on to a different project without finishing the one I started. This leads me to not write anything for a long period of time. So although I've started writing since I was 13, I've only actually written approximately 10 stories. A bit of good news though, the gaps between when I stop writing and start again are getting smaller and smaller still.

I want to review as many stories as I can on this site to try and help other people with their writing; take note that it may sometimes appear that I'm writing words of malice but I'm honestly trying to help. However, I will not read or review stories written by people with no profile information nor profile picture. Take the time to say something about yourself; otherwise I will assume you are a selfish writer only looking for other people's opinions without the intent of reciprocating.

Every time I come on this site I get more and more discouraged. What a dead site, no life here. Have a bunch of people posting stories expecting to get reviews but aren't willing to review other peoples stuff; it's sad really. I am no longer apart of this online community

That's all,
Uncivilized
