Notes on Bored in Class

This story was inspired , at least in part, by the Harry Potter fanfic Legacy. The story has an unlikely pair- Lily Evans and Remus Lupin. It's AU (Lily isn't friends with Snape, Remus isn't a very loyal Marauder), the characters seem out of character, it's all just dialogue. It's also beautiful. The story is so raw and real. Lily and Remus just exist in another world altogether in this story. If you are a HP fan, please read the story. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Chapter 1

Male: Rahul, Vivek,

Female: Rehanna

Chapter 2

mess=cafeteria. Meals are paid for at the beginning of the term/year. Mess food is notorious for being bland, no matter which hostel's mess you refer to.

Chapter 4

Chapter 6

tujh se nahi hoga= you won't be able to do it (the language is Hindi)

TA= Teaching Assistant. Poor graduate students always get roped into proctoring our tests.

Chatterjee= a surname. Typically, someone with this last name is from West Bengal.

Canteen: a place where snacks/meals are sold. Canteens tend to be more expensive than Messes(see chapter 2) so natural the food tastes better.

Male: Mohan, Sahil

Female: Aarti, Payal

India. People who get into IIT have a minimum IQ of 160. They study 12 hours a day in highschool. They're at the top of the fiercely competitive Indian academic food chain. Science freaks. Uber geeks. Social life? Ha, you hardly have time to breathe. Where does love fit in? Each chapter is less than 200 words.
