In the wake of a ton of life-related stuff, I probably won't be updating FictionPress any longer. Please refer to the links below for updates on my writing and future novels that are in the process of publication.

I have started up a crowdfunding campaign over at GoFundMe to aid in the monetary process that comes with self-publication, as I intend to get at least three novels out by the end of the year. Whether you're donating something as small as $5 or spreading the word, any help is appreciated.

The time has come, the walrus said.

No, the story does not end at chapter five. The real reason for why Seraphim Ascent has been taken down is because I'm taking the novel to the next level: Soon it will be sent in to a beta reader I have professionally hired. Then it will be set up and published on Amazon sometime within the next year. My goal is sometime in the spring of 2014, but we'll see.

I'm not so callous as to take down the novel completely, but have left the first part of the story up for free for all to read. That way I figure... Hey, if people still aren't interested in seeing where the story of the Seraphim crew are going, I don't know what to tell you. But rest assured the whole thing will be published -- and when it does, I figure it'd be nice to be able to share my story with the world. This is, after all, something I want to be doing for a living, as it has been since I was a little girl when my first grade teacher gave me a pen and paper and told me to write stuff.

I'll be giving more detailed accounts on my blogs, which have been detailed below. Furthermore, I have created a Facebook account for all my writing updates, which has also been added to the myriad links below.

To everyone who has given Seraphim their time... thank you. And I hope to see you again.

Yup, Seraphim Ascent is all uploaded.

I have a stockpile of critique that needs to be applied, though, so I'll be re-uploading the chapters as I go along. More specifically, to the earlier segments.

I'm hoping to have a polished manuscript by the end of summer, so I can start working on Book Two. As it usually goes, feedback is still appreciated.

One year ago, I submitted the first chapter/prologue of my rewrite for Seraphim Ascent.

One year later, today, I finally finished it.

I'll be going back and editing chapters a bit, and will be uploading them as I slowly revise the manuscript. I'm deeming it as my big summer project.

That said, your feedback will help me now more than ever. This has been a great accomplishment for me since I was on a creative/writing hiatus for nearly three years. Not only has rewriting this novel been like meeting with old friends, but it feels like it's helped me jump this huge hurdle I've been struggling with. At the risk of getting a little overly sappy here, I'll leave the rest up to you, the readers, to decide whether or not if the wait was worth it. Even so, it was a great personal journey for me, and I look forward to finally writing more novels again!

Thanks to all of the hits that I've been getting lately. It may not be much, but the thought that I've got readers out there have really helped keep me going. Drop by a comment/review, or hit me up personally via PM. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Holy crap, FictionPress is no longer a nincompoop and is finally letting me upload chapters again! This means that Seraphim Ascent is back in action.

Some people have pointed out to me that Løgic Errør is currently down for the count. I'm aware of this. For the time being, I am unable to pay for the expenses required to host a website. Times are hard these days when you have responsibilities such as employment to deal with, as writing alone isn't enough to pay the bills. I do, however, intend to frequent this site more often with writing updates. With any luck, the whole writing culture hasn't gone the way of the dodo and there are still some people out there willing to leave in their two cents. A little motivation goes a long way.
