Hi! I'm Amanda, and I'm 18. I'm really not very good at these, so I'll just say I hope my stories are much more interesting than this profile. If you really want to know more about me...um...well, I'm a vegan, have been writing 'novels' since I was six, when I used crayons and glued family Polaroids on the pages as illustrations, and I attend a community college right now, where I am studying philosophy and literature. I love nature and politically I am very liberal, though really I just try to be open minded and create whatever positive change I can in the world.

I joined this site because, while I am working on several "professional" pieces, including a novel, that I will not be posting here (since I hope to publish them eventually), I still feel insecure about my writing and felt the need to publish something, somewhere, and get some feedback. So please review! (And don't hesitate to be as critical as necessary!) Also, I am hoping that by posting my writing to this site, I can successfully motivate myself to write more regularly. Usually I bog myself down in so much research that I lose the flash of inspiration that originally caused me to begin writing in the first place.
