The skinny on Dougie Boy...

Okay here I am in prison for robbing banks. A shock of a start I know for those maintaining law- abiding lifestyles.

I started out with the gateway of weed during my disabling days in the military. Graduated summa cum laude with a Masters in cocainology...which catapulted my career as a user into the doctorate field of crack smoking. This is where the business principle of supply and demand really took flight. Only demand far out weighed the supply aspect, taxing mind body and spirit into the throes of decadence.

I have 'been down' now...(prison vernacular) for seven years. Instead of woebegone daying it, I have decided to write. Education is scant, save the street stupids reeling in my forlorned state of upheaval. So when you sense within my text that I'm a confused puppy without a clue big enough to rename the game, just step back and cut me out a not of the blizzard of the eighties kind..but of the constructive reviews kind.

If you are still reading, then I will bring into your periphery the real and true accounts of what abuse of dysfunction can wrought in a person's life. Sometimes morbid, sometimes mortal, but mostly just a man trying to eke out something positive of a life gone awry.

For those who assume this is some type of ploy to "make-up" an interesting profile, I assure you that I really am in prison...been here for quite some wouldn't know that though because it's true we can't surf along the www...but GOD has made a way for us in the Feds to e-mail folks! So..I am a man most blessed to be hooked up with another writer/editor who aids me in getting my work out on Fiction press. Because I must wait for the reviews to be passed on, there may be a delay in getting a reply back, but your reviews are extremely appreciated. We do not get a lot of pleasure in this mundane existence here in prison, and your reviews mean more to me than I can tell you. And, like many of you, I dream of one day getting my book published, your constructive criticism is very valuable to me in the editing process.

They called him “Death Row”; never to his face. You could visibly see the grief-stricken tracks life had splayed out across his face, as if mountain crags of hurt had crashed down on him all at once. And, as a matter of fact, it had.
