Dearest Readers,

I used to be an avid writer when I was twelve years old, but as time creeps up on me, my time for writing diminishes. Now I am at the aggravating age of fifteen. A lot has changed since my dewy-eyed school girl days, as you will discover from my stories.

I guess I should share my interests? My favourite genres to read are Science Fiction and Fantasy, though my mind is too unimaginative to write of such things. The stories I write fall into the more romantic, young adult categories. Some books that I enjoyed reading include Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, Jane Erye by Charlotte Bronte, Harry Potter by JK Rowling, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkein, and many, many others.

As for television I prefer British shows like Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Downton Abbey. As well as American shows like How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, and White Collar. Canada, my home country as well as current country, doesn't come out with many of its own television shows, so I make due with stealing them from other countries.

I spend most of my time with my nose in a book whether it is studying to keep up with my keener best friend, or reading a really interesting science fiction novel. With the rest of my time I attend a private school and participate as a leader for a young girls program with my church, attend youth, learn piano, act in the local and school theatre, organize school events with student council, and talk to my struggling peers. I have been deemed a makeshift counselor due to my desired career path as a psychologist.

My life has been very privileged, and I have no reason to complain about it, but I am a bit of a melancholy person, whether it be because of the dreadful unfortunace of being fifteen, or just my personality, I do not now. Writing helps me deal with my struggles, so I hope that I will have time to keep doing it.

I hope you enjoy my stories, and thank-you for taking time to read about me. Love you all.
