This is a story. Scratch that; that's a terrible way to begin any piece of writing.

This is my motto: I want to write. That's still not right! That's a desire, not a motto.

This is my mission: I will write. There; that's better. Right?

I'm not very good at this. I'll admit it freely. Rambling poetry and prose are my specialties. But I want to write. This time around, I will write. Every day, something will be written. A poem, a paragraph, a chapter in a story, and outline of a plot. Something. Anything.

Writing takes practice. Lots of it. One's skill increases the more one writes, and the more one writes the more one's skill increases. Reading the writings of others, noticing the good points and the bad points, is also very useful.

These things I vow: I will write. I will read. This is my mission.

A little about me:

WingedFaeTaku is the first account I created here several years back, but I have long forgotten the password and deleted the e-mail account I started it up with. I was a girl back then, hence the girly name. There's still some of my decent works uploaded there, for those who choose to look.

Oh yeah, I'm a college student. Math major. Nice to meet you all. ;)

Please review! And if/when you do, please give me CONSTRUCTIVE criticism or tell me specifically what you like about my work. Telling me "it's terrible" or "it's great!" is not helpful (even if the latter is nice to hear).
