Hello! Welcome to my profile! My name is Samantha and I am twenty-four years old. I joined this website a few years ago but never really got on it. I had already joined Fanfiction.net but I do not remember when I found out about this site. All I remember is that it was due to Fanfiction.net that I found it. Part of the reason I never really got on this site was that I was more into reading fan fiction. Lately, however, I haven't been as into it except for a few stories. A few times after I joined this site I wanted to read stories on here but then I would get distracted by other things online or change my mind. Finally, after being on this site for a few years, I decided that I wanted to read some stories that weren't based off of TV shows, movies, etc. I wanted to read something original so I've been reading stories on this site. I actually do write stories of my own but I'm not sure if I will post any of them. I want to improve on my writing because I feel like I focus too much on the plot and don't add enough descriptions of people, scenery, etc., to my stories. I also want to improve on how the plot plays out and make it flow better. Once I feel like my amateur stories are decent enough for people online to read, I may start posting them. For now, I will just read stories on this site and post poems that I want to post.

I know few people will see this page unless I start posting stories but I want to say a bit about myself. I am a Christian and was homeschooled from fourth grade to my senior year of high school. I graduated in 2012. Now, I am officially a nurse after graduating college December 2016 and taking my boards in January 2017. I took voice lessons and I sing solos in my church. I know a little guitar (like a few chords) but haven't played it a lot (even though I have my own guitar). I really want to learn the violin but I don't have one. I also like to draw but am a perfectionist when I draw so I don't draw a lot. I love science, especially astronomy. I play video games and enjoy many types of music (I will be listening to rock songs one moment and Disney songs the next). I love reading when the books or stories interest me but if I have to read something, such as textbooks, my mind tends to wander off and I find myself needing to reread what didn't sink in. I love cats and have a cat of my own. I also enjoy writing even though I have a lot to improve on. I have been writing since maybe sixth grade when I would write stories which usually include my friends and I and Star Wars characters(don't ask). I enjoy watching Disney movies(my favorite is Beauty and the Beast), anime, crime shows (especially Criminal Minds), the Stars Wars movies (preferably the original three), Doctor Who, etc. I like to write poetry but I haven't written a poem in a while. I love to laugh to the point that I can't breath and have tears running down my face and I cry easily when I laugh. Overall, I am glad to be on this site and hopefully I will post a story someday (but I did post a poem and may post more).
