Author has written 1 story for General.

I've loved writing ever since I was seven. That's pretty much when I decided the most exciting thing in the world was creating characters and worlds of my own (I gave up on being a Pokemon Master for this). I rounded up and hoarded all the empty notebooks I could find around the house, borrowed a bunch of my mom's pens (which she never got back), laid on my stomach in the middle of my room and scribbled away. Whenever I filled out the notebooks with all the creatures and scenarios of my imagining, I would ask my mom to buy me more. She always gave me a couple bucks and took me to the dollar store. I was happy with that; I didn't need a good notebook since anything would suffice.

Not much has changed since then. I still lay on my bedroom floor with my dollar store notebooks and pens, working away at whatever springs to life in my imagination - when I have the time that is. (university is a huge time-suck, but to me it's well worth it as it's a huge source of inspiration for stories). Of course, I do have a laptop now, but I still find my best ideas to be the ones originally scrawled in ink (of various colours) across crinkly paper.

I don't often post my stories because some of them are so laughably terrible, but mostly because I intend to (hopefully) professionally publish a few of my best stories someday, hence my concern with plagarism. That being said, I may post short stories every now and again for the sake of improving my writing, and providing some entertainment to whoever may read them.

So, to whoever reads any story I post: Constructive (but polite) criticism is greatly appreciated!

If we already knew our limits, there would never be a reason to test them. A one-shot about a young girl with the ability to see the world outside of her own.
