Kill the King and throne the Queen.
Burn his bones and throw them to the sea.
Melt his crown of gold and weave a new one
from roses red (leave the thorns).
Cut his furs to blanket the poor,
rebuild where he could only destroy.
Create peace and love, but never forget...
With one hand you can conquer,
and with the other you can rule. — C.G.

I enjoy escapism and partake in reading, drawing, writing, and daydreaming my life away.
Silence, cool breezes, winter mornings, instrumental music, a pen and a book are some of my best friends.

I often sign as 'Novella' when I'm not logged on. Feel free to contact me if you want to reply to a review I left behind. Constructive criticism and feedback motivate me to write more than anything. Please add to my motivation jar by leaving a review!

UPDATES:

Date: February 2, 2015

Topic: Surprise!
Update:

You didn't expect that, did you? Anyway, I was just going through my old stuff and wondering which story I should try to finish this year. Honestly, I have far too many...

Also, I'm looking for a beta to help me out with Fortune's Favour, someone who specifically specialises in historicals. Please let me know if you know someone!

Date: August 14, 2014

Topic: Repost
Update:

I reposted Fortune's Favour because I've been mulling over too long on my dissatisfaction, specifically with the second half of the first chapter. The only thing that motivated me to finally take it down was a guest review from a history buff who cringed at my abundant "historical inaccuracies", hahaha. (It was just the first chapter. You people expected me to tell you everything in the first chapter?!)

I suppose this means I should start spoon-feeding my readers...
