Update: April 30, 2017 -- I just removed The Embroidered Night...tried to be all casual about it but the chapter removals got registered as an update, so I'm sorry if it got into your queue of updated stories when I did the opposite of updating!

Also, I've been working on rewriting Downfall and I want to tidy it up and make things less complicated, but I find if I remove one detail, it throws the whole plot line off course. So I've been having trouble balancing things. I also have a sequel to Downfall that I want to post eventually, but I can't do that without posting Downfall...and I can't rearrange the sequel to be a stand-alone because major factors of the sequel are based on how Downfall ended!! Ahh. Anyway. I might just polish it up as best I can and post it. I like to go back and read stories I loved back in the day on this site, so maybe some people will want to do the same with Downfall. That's why I want to get it back up.

Update: November 6, 2016-- WTF I'm back?!?!?! It's been years since I've posted!! I know I promised in my last update (below) that I would be reposting stories, and I DID work on those for a while, but I got carried away with a new story. It's called "How to Stop a Beating Heart". It's about Marla, who is an agent for the SRA which is like police who keep Vampires in line and cover up Vampire attacks so that humans don't know they exist. Then she gets in a bad situation and a Vampire called Alex saves her and they must partner up because he's got info and connections she needs. She realizes there's so much beyond what she knows from her job, and they're a good team, even if she hates Vampires...

I do still plan to repost Downfall someday. The thing is, I'm way more excited about its sequel. But I can't just post the sequel without the first one, can I? So it'll be up eventually.

May 4, 2015-- Removed some stories recently. I reread Downfall and it's not as bad as I thought (lol) but it needs a solid edit to fix up some contradictions and general errors. I was going to rewrite it altogether (make Helena older, etc), but decided to scrap that. I also want to post the sequel at some point, but at the moment I feel like I've got about 50% of it planned and it needs something more. I'm also working on changing one of the main characters altogether...basically, it's nowhere near finished at the moment. [For Downfall, I'll probably edit it all and repost it at once, not a chapter-by-chapter thing]

The only thing stopping me is that I've fallen out of my writing groove. I wasn't a good story planner when I posted stuff here, but I feel like I was a better writer, if that makes sense. I feel like I've lost whatever I had. So I don't know when there will be new stories. I have lots of ideas and a few started stories but I'm just second-guessing myself on everything.

Anyway! That's all.

TL;DR Removed some stories, plan to repost Downfall with some edits to make it more cohesive (but it will be the same story). Hopefully will post new stories and a Downfall sequel, too, but I'm struggling with self-doubt and picking everything apart.
