this is a bit of my gethsemane

We all have our Gethsemanes, the place we take temporary refuge in before we face the world once more. I call it Gethsemane after that very same place where Jesus prayed desperately to the Father to 'take this cup of suffering' from Him, yet at the same time submitted completely to the Father's will in all humility and obedience. Writing, for me, is my Gethsemane, an act of expression in which I pour out my soul to my loving Father in the hope that once I am emptied of myself, He will fill me with His presence so that I can live according to His will and purpose for me in this life. This I tell you in the light that you, too, may come to know who Christ is when you find yourself in Gethsemane.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face.
Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. - 1 Corinthians 13:12 (KJV)
