Author has written 27 stories for Supernatural, Romance, General, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy.
Hey, guys. There's not much to say about me but I'll give it a go anyway. This is kind of long; feel free to skip it and get to the stories which are under the 'updates' or just skip to reading them if you want ;)
I'm 24. I look 15. I got called a 'puppy' by coworkers on my birthday. Why.
I'm a girl, since people were apparently taking bets on this. You can collect your money now, whoever won. Though those messages were amusing, so thanks.
I primarily write slash. I have a hard time writing female characters. If this isn't your glass of pineapple juice, please return to the fridge and try again.
I suffer bad migraines pretty much daily. Most of my stuff is written while under the influence of my meds, so I am fairly loopy. There will probably be a lot of mistakes because of this, primarily typos. I don't have a beta. I post things as soon as I finish them, usually, lest I lose my nerve and hide the chapters away for fear they are superiorly inferior to previous stories/chapters. So, my lack of editing is probably a good thing for you guys.
I have a puppy, born April 13, 2014. She's part Wheaten Terrier and part Mini Australian Shepard. Her name is Kaidey. She is my avatar. The picture was taken mid-June, when she was 9 weeks old.
I'm sometimes uncomfortable writing M-rated scenes. I have to be in the mood for them. Thus we get stories like Almost Living which has a whole slew of m-rated scenes, and then sometimes we will get an entire story where it is only hinted at, fade-to-black moments.
I have a boyfriend whom I plan on marrying one day. We've been dating since March 14, 2012. He is one of my best friends and (I would never say this to him due to my lack of spoken sentimentality) I can't imagine my life without him.
I love writing! I got a book published for my 17th birthday, had a book signing and everything. No, I'm not telling you what it's called. I wrote it when I was seventeen. Past writing... *shivers*
I'm in love with angst. I would marry it if I could. So my stories contain a lot of that. Not all of my stories will have happy endings. If this bothers you, sorry. Realistically things don't always work out. I've learned that the hard way in life. As much as we want a happy ending it doesn't always happen and sometimes the worst thing happens out of the blue and your world comes crashing down around you. So, no, they're not all going to have happy endings. I'm sorry! But life doesn't always work out and we don't always get what we want and I need an outlet for shit that goes wrong, so... Not all of them will be happy endings. Sorry, guys. Life isn't always wrapped up all nice and pretty.
I love accepting challenges/requests for stories.
If you read it, review it.
I respond to reviews far more than I do to anything else. Even if it's just a quick, 'oh, I like this story' or 'this chapter sounded good'. Something to let me know people are reading it. We're all writers here and we thrive off feedback. If you want reviews on your stories then you should show other authors the same curtesy. Also I am 100% more likely to go to your profile and check out your stories if you leave a review on mine. Try to get into the habit of reviewing stories you read. If you want people to review your work and let you know what you can fix or what sounds wrong or what they like about the story/chapter, then you should do the same for them. Otherwise you're a hypocrite.
10-11-13 - After a year, Almost Living is finished. Yay? Mixed feelings about this. The sequel, Almost Dying, is in the making.
7/16/14 - My friend, Magin, and I are starting to post our RPs. Right now we are only posting what I have dubbed the Koudam verse, which revolves around a slash pairing between Adam (my character) and Koude (Magin's character, pronounced like Cody). If you want Koude's POV go to Magin's profile. Adam's POV can be found on mine. The first story posed is entitled First Impressions. Check it out :) Also don't forget to read Magin's version!
8/11/14 - So, after a year, Slow Burn is finished. How bittersweet. The companion novel, Ramble On, should start soon, which is essentially a story following Spear and Fix as opposed to Alec and Caleb. The story will be similar only after the two groups meet up, and it will actually follow through with the ending, however tragic that might be ;) If you read Slow Burn then you know pretty much how Ramble On will end but I hope that doesn't stop you from reading it anyway.
9/30/14 - So, I did a little spring cleaning :) Or... fall cleaning. Whatever. Cleaning! I deleted a lot of my older stories and ones that weren't going anywhere. Green Eyes, Golden Eyes, and Carpe Diem (both versions) are scheduled to be removed in a few days. Why removed? Because I can't stand to look at them anymore, my writing was so awful back then. So they might one day return with an upgraded version, but for the time being, I'm taking them off. Sorry, guys. You've been warned!
10/11/14 - I don't like having a ton of unfinished stories on my profile... So I've decided to discontinue the ones which will probably never be updated, and delete them. This goes along with the "Spring cleaning" or whatever update. In a week or so, Carpe Diem, Golden Eyes, and Green Eyes will be deleted, so you've been warned! I plan on bringing them back in the future when they have been rewritten and everything, and I probably won't make a new story on this site until I complete another story, be it Save Me from Myself, Ramble On, or Almost Dying. Well, new multi-chapter story, anyway. One-shots are fair game to post ;)
12/15/14 - So... after a year... Almost Dying is complete. How bittersweet. I will miss this story to bits but I'm looking forward to starting part 3! Also look for a new version of Green Eyes. I'm deleting the version which is present right now and will be rewriting the story and adding new elements and taking others away. So, there's that. Along with other short stories and stuff, I think. Anyway, hope to see you all over at Almost Dying's sequel, Almost Forever!
5/23/15 - Tye (interestinglyenough) and I are working on a joint series tentatively dubbed the "Trifecta" series. It features a slew of new characters, a new plot, one-shots, and full length-stories. We are still debating how to go about posting them, but so far I have 2 of the one-shots posted. Please check out her profile for the rest of them!! I'll try to do something that tells you the chronological order of things, but I make no promises since we are writing them out of order, mostly. We are getting ready to start the first full-length, main-plot story for this series, so I'm excited about that ;)
6/13/16 - I did some more cleaning. I deleted some of my older stories and stories that were going nowhere. I wound up finally deleting Green Eyes and Golden Eyes, as well was Carpe Diem. I'm sorry if this upsets you, but hopefully I will get around to rewriting them at some point in the future. Maybe they'll be back then. Who knows.
1/18/17 - After a year, Almost Forever is now complete. Again, bittersweet. It's been a long, fun ride, but I'm a little burnt out on Terry and Kieron. I'm going to take a break with them and hopefully start the sequel when I'm ready to get back into them.
3/1/18 - I guess I'm back. For now. Don't know how long that will last. My head's getting worse and I've got some kind of disorder according to the psychiatrist, so we'll see how that goes. I'll try to stick around for a while but I am prone to absences rather randomly. So, there's that. I'm also working on a slightly more serious story (in that I'm treating it more seriously, not that the content is more serious) called A Matter of Instinct. It's the first in a series following werecat detective Anthony Morgan, enraged werewolf Rhys Fleming, and human hunter Jack Valentine as they're thrown together when an open-and-shut case turns far more complicated and morally gray. Give it a try?
11/05/18 - I disappeared again. Sorry. I've been going through some stuff mentally. I've also had some bad writer's block. I'm more active on my fanfics on AO3 right now. I'm 'AkuChibi' there. Some of my original stories are posted there, too, primarily the "What the Heart Wants" series of one-shots and the Almost Living series. I haven't forgotten about Almost Human... Terry and Kieron just aren't coming naturally to me right now, and writing them feels forced. I promise to try and get back into it soon. It will be completed, someday.
Possible Upcoming Stories
But I wouldn't hold my breath.
Slow Rise - Sequel to Slow Burn. Surviving the end of the world has certain repercussions. The treatment's been dispersed and the mutations are no longer such a threat, but humanity's salvation brings with it power hungry groups who will stop at nothing to get what they want. No laws, no morals, no help. Sometimes mutations aren't the monsters. We are. (Not yet rated; name and summary subject to change)
Ruin - Malcolm "Mal" Flynn's life is turned upside down when he's assigned to a newly created top-secret division of the military called the "Nexus". Flung out of his comfort zone and into a life he didn't quite ask for, he's left attempting to decide how to get his new team to trust him, because if they can't trust each other, they're dead. He's always been a distant guy so maybe it's no wonder people think he's brooding when he watches them from afar. He's an infiltrator, though - that's kind of in his job description. Then he meets his new partner, Nikolai Montoya, and watching just isn't enough anymore. Add to it the fact that he's now being considered a potential loose end and now his every move is being watched, and it leaves for a bit of a messed up situation. Names might change. Not yet rated.
They all have little to no bearing on the actual plot of the series they are in
Almost Teasing - Side story to Almost Living stories, requested by Tenshi no Yami. It's Thanksgiving in Ethereal, and Terry gets what he wants. Kind of. Rated M for reason. Slash, obviously.
Almost Thankful - Side story to Almost Living stories, requested by Tenshi no Yami. It's hard pleasing people. Especially if it's your own family. And they don't like your boyfriend. And refuse to acknowledge that you're gay. Slash. Rated T.
Almost Halloween - Side story to Almost Living stories, requested by Tenshi no Yami. The holidays are nice, especially when you spend them with your boyfriend... who calls Halloween a silly holiday, and 'aren't there warnings about taking candy from strangers?' But, hey, at least he's in that cute costume - however reluctantly. What could possibly go wrong? Rated M for reason. Slash.
So Damn Good - Side story to Ramble On, requested by Cuppie (Wavern16). "Comfy." "Yeah," Fix sighed, "it is. With you." "I'm always comfy. People love laying under me. I'm the perfect blanket." "Yeah," Fix said quietly, "but you're mine." Spear lifted his head, placing a hand on Fix's chest, holding himself up a bit so he could peer into his face. "I thought we were joking." Rated M for reason. Slash.
This Side of Kissing - Side story to The Other Side Trilogy, which hasn't been posted here yet. Requested by HikariMelody. Emery and Derek have been dancing around each other for years. This Christmas, the rest of the Siders decide to do something about that. Rated T for a tiny bit of language. Slash. Fluff.
What the Heart Wants - Original story, requested by interestinglyenough. Kevin knows he has issues, but they are nothing compared to Liam's. This wouldn't be nearly as awkward if Kevin could stop picturing the guy naked. This would be easier if Liam would stop sending him nude photos. Rated M. Slash. Currently a series of one-shots so I guess, technically, it's still ongoing and being updated randomly, but it could end at any 'chapter'.
Completed Main Stories (i.e. multi-chapter)
Tasteful (Old Version) - Rated T. Slash. Taylor Moore has never been exactly 'normal', but this is ridiculous! Cursed with hyper-sensitive taste buds, he spends his days tasting people's emotions, whether he wants to or not. His friend, Lo, finds it amusing...but he has no room to talk as a dog-man. He and Lo are given the job of hunting down a rogue psychic hell-bent on getting into Taylor’s head. Now Lo has to keep his friend safe while also pretending not to give a damn about anything, and Taylor has do deal with the fact that as time goes on and this psychic unleashes previously unknown stuff within him, more symptoms begin to arise. Dealing with that, conflicting emotions, the psychic, and just life in general, they certainly have their work cut out for them. NOTE: This will be taken down soon.
Road Trip (Old Version) - Sequel to Tasteful. Rated M. Slash. Caught in a 'something' with Lo and doing job after job, Taylor decides a road trip is in order. But things soon go out of hand when they run across a job and his necklace breaks. They may need a vacation from this vacation! Tired of doing job after job, Taylor drags a reluctant Lo and enthusiastic Blaise on a cross country road trip. Worried he and Lo jumped into things too quickly, he hopes this trip will give them time to relax and think, and at least be together without the threat of work. However, when a car wreck enters the picture and they find themselves stuck in a small town with a big and dangerous secret, their love troubles may be the least of their worries, especially when Taylor's necklace breaks and he finds himself craving blood. Oh boy. They may need a vacation from this vacation! NOTE: This will be taken down soon.
Soundproof (Old Version) - Sequel to Road Trip. Rated T. Slash. With Christmas fast approaching, Taylor and Lo should be focusing on each other. Instead, they're after a new rogue with ties to Taylor's past. The aftermath may be deafening. Memories of the cells plague Taylor and Blaise is given her first official job. on the hunt for a new, out of control rogue. When Red threatens to enter the picture, they may have to put their differences aside, or suffer the consequences. Just because Christmas is coming doesn't mean they will be together to celebrate it. NOTE: This will be taken down soon.
Slow Burn - Rated M as of chapter 23. Eventual slash. Everyone thought the end would be quick - they'd blink and the world would be gone. But the end was anything but quick - it was a slow burn that ate and ate at humanity until there was nothing left except fear, loss, and hatred. Just ask Alec - all he wants is his damn knife back, but a fellow survivor is making that rather difficult. Two survivors, one shrouded in mystery, the other haunted by guilt. Together, can they find a strange sort of happiness in the wreckage of the end of the world? Or will humanity's remnants, as well as the mutations, destroy what little comfort they've managed to find in one another? Because if Alec's learned one thing, it's that nothing good lasts forever, and happiness, as well as forgiveness, is something he's not entirely sure he deserves...
Almost Living - Rated M. Slash. Adult themes. You can't complain when you're bottom. not even if your sometimes-hook-up throws surprise sex at you. But it's kind of hard to complain when the asshole you're stuck with is the only thing keeping you alive. And let's face it, you think he's hot. Terry never asked for any of this. He was quite content with his normal, boring life, thanks very much. But one night in the woods and suddenly Atlantis isn't just some myth, vampires aren't the immortals you have to worry about, and a blue-haired asshole won't decide if he's going to ditch you or finally let you in. Terry thought it was the immortals he had to worry about... but suddenly there's a whole new meaning to the word "scream". And let's not forget this mysterious bond. If only Kieron would answer your questions!
Almost Dying: Rated M as of chapter 19. Sequel to Almost Living, STRONGLY suggest you read that first, or at least the last few chapters. Being human is hard. It doesn't help when you're caught between two wars, with one side wanting you dead and the other side wanting you alive but your boyfriend dead. Oh, and then there's the lake. But let's not think about that because you won't let that happen, right, human? Months ago, Terry was normal. Then a blue-haired immortal from Atlantis decided to kidnap him for his own protection. Now bonded and in a complicated relationship with that immortal, that's just the tip of the iceberg. First there's the two wars you unintentionally started, then there's the fact the Master still has unknown plans for you, the pros and cons of being the "aggressor" in the relationship, and let's not forget this mysterious "lake" many perpetuals steer clear of... well, look at the bright side - the sex is fantastic, Kieron might finally be letting you in, and maybe, just maybe, there's a way to get out of this alive. Or not. That's entirely up to you, human.
Almost Forever: Sequel to Almost Dying, 3rd in Almost Living Series. Slash. Rated M for reason. You can't really back down when you're forced to play politician, not when you're the cause for the war in the first place. Exrie's army is on the rise, and if you want to stop him, you need allies. Even if they don't like your boyfriend. And even if he's possessed. Kieron's claiming leaves a bond in overdrive but with little time to focus on it, the war is the more pressing issue. No matter how much you want to hold him to you and never let go. Things become more complicated when a mysterious voice tells you to go to Miitha Tiaydh before the Ridian Eclipse happens, whatever that is. On a time limit, it's up to you to make or break the world. (very rough summary, will probably change.)
Each Misfire: The universe ended not with a bang, but with a whisper. Captain Kane commands the Saurian, a bounty hunting vessel not built for direct combat. On a mostly routine mission to apprehend an intergalactic convict, the crew of the Saurian gets pulled into the previously unnoticed chaos, as another captain has risen... and he has domination on his mind. My first foray into actual sci-fi, with mixed results. Updating sporadically.
A Light in the Dark: For thieves, outcasts, and the cursed alike, the promise of a new life is hard to refuse. However, everything comes with a price, one some aren't quite willing to pay, in the end. The world must be in some dire straits if it's counting on a band of outcast misfits to save it. Book 1 in the Crystalline Cycle. Rated T for now but will probably go up. This is a story I've had in mind since I was 14. Updating randomly whenever I feel like it and don't hate what I write.
A Matter of Instinct: In a world where supernatural creatures exist and are acknowledged by the government, an open-and-shut case turns far more complicated when a series of violent murders bring an enraged werewolf, a werecat detective, and a human hunter together in a morally gray area. When the lines between right and wrong get blurred, you have to trust your instincts to get out alive. Possible slash. Rated M for violence and language. This series doesn't have a name yet but I'll let you know when it does. Updating regularly.
Tasteful: Rewrite. No slash. Rated T for language and mentions of abuse. Taylor Moore has never been 'normal', but this is ridiculous! Cursed with hyper-sensitive taste buds, he spends his days tasting emotions. His friend, Lo, finds it amusing - but he has no room to talk as a dog-man. When they're put on the hunt for a rogue psychic, who happens to be a killer-for-hire, Taylor finds himself a target, and an unwitting pawn in a chess game wherein he's just arrived and his opponent is ten moves ahead. He thought tasting emotions was bad, but this new part of himself begs to differ. Updating randomly; at the moment on hold.
No longer updating these. I'm just keeping them here because these are the only copies I have left of them.
The Real Bloodsuckers: Dragon's Blood, or DB, is the hottest drug on the market. People would kill for it. Too bad Wrynn is a half-dragon himself, and his blood is the next big thing. Luckily his stalker-ish vampire, Ashton, is there to keep him company. Slash, if you care. Rated T.
Hope Springs Eternal: Demon Hunters Series. When Damon found Cam locked in a closet with his dead mother, he just had to take the kid from the house. The police have finally caught up to him and the demons aren't far behind. Rated for demons, violence, and Kazuya's potty mouth. Sequel-ish to Where There's Life, There's Hope. No slash.
Monster: Sequel to Soundproof. He was given a necklace for a reason. He was also tortured for a reason. Now he's loose. If Lo wants Taylor back, he's going to have to fight against not only his own people, but the emotion taster himself. Slash.
Altered: Tasteful series AU as requested. M/M slash. Contains Mpreg. Rated T. It's times like this Taylor wished he knew exactly what he was and what it meant... but it's a little late for that now. Had he known this was possible, he might have told Lo to wear a damn condom, but now he's stuck with the little... miracle. A new rogue complicates things, especially when he takes an interest in Taylor.
Ramble On: Companion novel to Slow Burn. M/M. Rated T. Spear's not sure where everything went wrong. Fix isn't sure he cares. It's easy to feel like there's no direction or purpose in life when everything ends and the life you once had is over. Sometimes it's hard to get up and keep going when the world keeps knocking you down. Spear's not ready to give up yet. Fix wouldn't let him anyway. Might rewrite this one day, but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.
This is a series created by both myself and interestinglyenough. Please check out her profile for other stories in it.
In a time of great of evil, a solution was found: the Trifecta. The Keeper - who attempts to keep the peace between our world and the world of the Creatures by protecting the Gate, found in the City of the Gate. The Warrior - whose job it is to protect the members of the Trifecta at all costs. The Sage - who has unique knowledge of the Creatures, and can excel in potions, fortunetelling, etc, and whose job it is to safeguard the information and share it with the Trifecta to ensure peace is kept throughout both worlds. For centuries this solution has held true and has worked. Now, though, a human threat has arisen, wanting only one thing: to destroy the Trifecta, and open the Gate. This could pose quite the problem for the new Trifecta...
Quinn Miles - female, created by Tye (interestinglyenough)
Nyx - male, created by Tye
Cassidy O'Connor - female, created by me
Maxim Rhodes - male, created by me
Morgan - female, created by Tye
Pre-Series: (takes place before actual main plot of series, mostly background stuff) (try to put these in order)
(1) The Story of You - Written by interestinglyenough, so check out her profile for the story. It is also listed in my favorites. Growing up differently was always hard for Nyx, knowing that he wasn't like the other kids. What was even harder was accepting that these differences were becoming more obvious, harder for his parents to keep up with and hide. It wouldn't be so bad if his mother hadn't tried to rip off his ears.
(2) Ask No Questions, I'll Tell No Lies - If Daniel didn't want him asking questions, then he really shouldn't have introduced him to philosophy. Then again, some things are better left in the dark than shoved into the light of day. Rated T for minor violence and a bit of language.
(3) No Magic Hat Tricks - Written by interestinglyenough, so check out her profile for the story. It is also listed in my favorites. Nyx had always tried to be honest with Max about everything. It's what best friends do, right? But there's always been one, hiding under a certain hat, that Nyx can't contain anymore. Add that to the stress of thinking his best friend would abandon him for a job, and it's enough to worry anyone terrified of being alone.
(4) Jingles - Written by interestinglyenough, so check out her profile for the story. It is also listed in my favorites. When Quinn asks Nyx to watch her cat while she's out of town, Nyx thinks nothing of it. Not until the cat starts reacting to his words, or even his meows.
(5) I Dreamed A Dream - Cass isn't sure what to think of life, or her friendship with Max, when a nightmare she had winds up coming true, with startling accuracy. Rated T for a bit of language and just to be safe.
Main Series: (where main storyline starts taking place)
(1) Diverged in a Yellow Wood - Written by both myself and interestinglyenough, with me writing even chapters, her the odd. It will be posted on her profile, the second story being posted on mine, so please check out her profile for this particular story. Max has never been fond of lying. He's always been painfully honest with everyone. When Cass asks him to lie for her, no one is prepared for the consequences. On Tye's profile.
