![]() Author has written 6 stories for Supernatural, Romance, and Humor. Hello. Thank you for coming to my profile. If you are looking for a certain written piece, you may find any of them at the bottom of the page. If you wish to learn more about the author, you have selected the correct designated area. Please wait one moment while I think of something worth saying. My name is Rachel, and I am currently 19 as of when I wrote this. I do turn 20 at some point this year. I enjoy writing all different types of genres. Many of them are actually in the supernatural genre, contrary to what I would have you believe when you look at what I have posted here. I have been a writer for... well... since I can remember, really. I've won various little prizes for essays and whatnot over the years, and I like to pretend that I can actually write fiction fairly well. Of course, I'm always willing for someone to pop my bubble and tell me where I can improve. I typically write in first person. (It's easier for me since it's generally how I think. I like knowing everything a character is feeling. It makes me feel like they're writing their autobiography through me. That... probably sounds weird. Anyway, other than that, I do enjoy being a beta for others, but I can tell you I have a short attention span. If you only put a half-ass effort into something and it's obvious, I will tell you so, but hopefully in a kinder and gentler way. I'm fairly good at editing, and if a paragraph or sentence doesn't sit right with me, I'll often give suggestions on how to fix the sentence or paragraph. If there's a certain stylistic approach I'd like to see more of in your writing, I will point it out, or give you an example. I realize I'm not perfect myself, so you can take anything I tell you with a grain of salt. I'm also a review hound. I absolutely thrive on them, because they tell me if I'm going in the right direction, or if something I wrote just plain sucks and needs to be rewritten. I will rewrite a scene a thousand times to get it right, if I have to, and I count on any and all of my readers to give me that feedback that I need. I understand that Happily Ever After will be more of a smutty story (eventually), but that doesn't mean that it can't be improved and eventually be more appealing to a wider range of people. Trust me, I don't just sit there and beg on hands and knees because it's fun. (Though I'm sure Alexander enjoys watching. That pervert.) If you're still with me, thanks for reading, and I seriously have to thank all of you for showing me so much support. I seriously squee in excitement every time I get a new notification from fiction press in my email and it's not from me updating a story. It's pretty pathetic. You guys are awesome! Keep the reading spirit alive. :) -Rachel P.S.- Oh, and don't feel intrusive by sending me a PM if you want to ask something you don't feel comfortable asking in reviews. I don't bite. :) Regularly Updated Stories: Not Your Mother's Happily Ever After |
