"You have powers you never dreamed of. You can do things you never thought you could do. There are no limitations in what you can do except the limitations of your own mind." --Darwin P. Kingsley

ferret nin's the name! I'm here as a free minded, open minded, and mystical person testing the limits of our much large society on a world basis. I'm an adventurer, an optimist, a great friend, a loved owner, a listener, a talker, a dreamer, a worshiper. I'm everything and anything I put my mind to. And now, I'm an inspirational writer hoping to experiment in the waters called "fiction, prose, poetry, and MAGIC". XD

I love chocolate as any self-respecting human being would (minus the ppl allergic to it in which i'm srry), I'm terrible at math, great at English, and I absolutely, positively LOVE science! History is, "eh, whatever".

I'm a rightful Christian; I worship Christ, but I'm accepting of all ppl's beliefs, tradition's, and cultures. I LOVE learning and experiencing different cultures, taking part in attempting (and sadly failing, lol) @ learning their language(s). Any one person with any one religion or deity/deities, or Higher Being is welcomed to read any and all (or some, depending on ur tastes) of my stories and poems.

I don't care what ppl think of me, I don't care being called weird, and I most certainly don't care about fitting in. So, the famous pop culture? Nope! I'm all Alt Rock and Classical. I don't mind rap, but don't expect me to know or to have heard about the less popular rappers out there. You can tell me anything, I don't judge. Heck, you can even talk to me about random and crazy things that no one else gets or understands (like, OnionUnderSaultedFriedPicklesChocolateOlives). Overall, I'm my own self and I take pride in being a "outsider" to a world of "insiders".

(and yes, i use text language as well as poor grammar in informal things such as this)

My pledge:

I do solomny swear that I, ferret nin, will review every story I read regardless of the number of reviews, chapters, status, my own tastes, and/or popularity. Under all pretenses, I will never degrade a person, insult another person or their beliefs, take part in hate letters, put down another person, say offensive things to said person/persons, gossip, or steal from any given person. I will never intentionally hurt another living person or developing authors. I DO NOT claim to know more, or better, than any other person on this site as I am merely a hopeful writer who wishes to entertain all parties on this site. I swear to this pledge and I take full responsibility for what I do, whether it is offending another person or voilating the sites and this community's rules and guidelines.

Food For Thought

"Life was meant to be lived, and curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life."--Eleanore Roosevelt

"Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none."--William Shakespeare

"You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life."--J. Krishnamurti, Indian Philosopher

"Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power."--Lao-Tzu

"Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."--Buddha

"I am a verb."--Ulysses S. Grant

"Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday."--Don Marquis

"Youth is a circumstance you can't do anything about. The trick is to grow up without getting old."--Frank Lloyd Wright

(don't be suprised if you find some of these incorperated into my stories or their summaries)

GENERAL DISCLAIMER:

ALL THE PLOTLINES, CHARACTERS, SCENES, AND IDEAS OF MY STORIES/ POETRY/ SHORTS BELONG SOLELY TO ME. IF THERE IS CREDIT TO BE GIVEN FOR ANYTHING THAT IS NOT MY OWN, I WILL PAY DUE RESPECT TO THE COMPANY, PERSON(S) THAT THE IDEAS, THEMES, OR ESTABLISHMENTS CAME FROM. I AM AN AMETURE WRITER AND I DO NOT CLAIM TO BE A PROFESSIONAL AT ANYTHING. ALL OF MY SELF-OWNED IDEAS ARE ONLY EXPERIMENTS THAT I AM THROWING OUT THERE. I WILL NOT PROMISE THAT I WILL UPDATE MY ONGOING STORIES EVERYDAY NOR THAT I WILL OFFICALLY COMPLETE THEM. I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED.

THANK YOU AND HAVE A TERRIFICLY AWESOME DAY :)

So! I finally decided to do my profile seeing as to how I felt the need to express myself to all other authors and readers. I have two more things to post and I'll be done. (Three if you count the quote I'm gonna end with)

Challenges!!

Genres I'm willing to work in:

Fiction: Anything.

Poetry: Family, Fanasty, Friendship, General, Haiku, Humor, Life, Love, Nature, Religion, School.

My rules: 1) Any topic in any of the above listed Genres is allowed.

2) Will do slash (male/male) and Horror for poetry.

3) You have to give me one or three words to work with; no more, no less.

4) If you want any specific themes or characters, you must tell me in your PM. (I'm not a mind reader, after all XD)

5) I am not doing yuri (female/female).

6) I will not write to promote racism. Any racism without a specfic reason will be disregarded. (Read my pledge for the reason)

7) Any themes such as relationship violence, character death, graphic sex, rape, domestic abuse, ect. I am willing to do, but do not expect me to (a) be any good at it; and (b) go into explicit detail (unless given a precise reason(s) to do so. And, if I do, do not accuse me of condoning such practices.)

Notes: Depending on my time and the subject or length, it may take me a while to get your request posted. I have the right to disregard any request that I see don't follow my rules. If I have declined your request, I will send you a PM within three days max. stating with the reason why I refuse to write it and, if I don't contact you within three days, I'll write an apology and provide a reason as to why. IF I do accept your request, I will PM you immediately and tell you how soon I may be able to have it up. HOWEVER, if for some reason I don't respond to your PM immediately, please be patient and vigilant until I do so. Thank you and have fun!! :)

Notes for actual stories (not requests): It may take me a while or no time at all to update a story or stories so please be patient and stick with me. Please, do not flame me for any reason because I'm sensitive about what other people think about my work that I've put time aside to write; writing for me is a passion, not a side thing meant to waste my free time. Reviews really do help me write stories and motivate me to continue them; even one word ones like, "great" or "wow" or even "odd". Thanks! I sincerely hope ya'll enjoy my stories/poems!! :)

Quotes from My Favorite People

"The art of imagination is easy; the imagery is the complicated part." --Unknown

"We live for today, die tomorrow, and never think of the past. We are the artists." --English teacher

"All we see is nothing but a dream within a dream." --Edgar Allan Poe

"Quoth the raven, 'Nevermore'." --Edgar Allan Poe

"Irony. Odd, is not it?" --Friend

Some great humor: "Hatred is a special kind of love that we give to people who suck." --Brandon (one of my friends before I moved)

"Cookies?! Where!!" --Origin unknown

"--And I was saying--Oooh look, a butterfly!!" --Me (ADHD? Maybe. lol)

"DIE POTATO!!" sound of gun being loaded "NOT TODAY." Potato points gun at guy, guy has an expression: OO (XD)

And...that concludes it folks! I am back in the writing groove and, even though I took a really long vacation (plus my internet was shot) I'm ready and willing to write, write, and write some more!!
