Well… Hello. There are some things you should know about me:

I am not the teenage girl who looks for sappy romance novels to wallow in self-pity with.
I am a confident girl who knows what she stands for.
When I start something I stick with it. Giving up is not an option.
I am responsible for my actions, and I am not perfect.
I know that the only way to be satisfied is to be myself.
I am not a sheep. I don't do something because someone else is doing it; if I do something someone else happens to also be doing, it is because I made the decision myself.
I never quit while I'm ahead, I keep going.
I am more sense than sensibility.

Some things/sayings I stand for:

It is not where you start, it's where you finish.
Equality and fairness are not the same thing, but they are both things that should be striven for, and one should not compromise the other.
There are always opportunities, it's whether you choose to hear them knocking and open the door that matters.

My favorite quotes:

"It is impossible to eat muffins in an agitated manner." ~Algernon Moncrieff in The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
"From a knight who swore by his honor that they were good pancakes, and swore by his honor that the mustard was naught. Now I'll stand to it that the pancakes were naught and the mustard was good, and yet was not the knight forsworn." ~Touchstone in As You Like It by William Shakespeare
