Hey there, I'm Savanna :)
Facts About Me: My favorite color has been red since I was five. My birthday is on February 13th. I would die without music; it's gotten me through some tough times. I'm now a senior in high school, and I plan on majoring in Psychology in college. I love homemade mac 'n' cheese. I'm originally from New Jersey, but now I live in Florida. I love living near the beach, but I miss snow. I'm one of the most random people of all my friends, always coming up with weird things to talk about. I love writing, but I would never write purely for a job. I'm scared of walking alone outside at night, even though I live in an area with mostly harmless old people. I'm an agnostic, so I believe there's something out there, but I'm just not sure what yet. My absolute favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I tend to use the word 'but' a lot in my writing to connect sentences, which I'm really trying to cut back on. Sorry if it annoys you in my stories! My favorite numbers are three and thirteen. I'm a picky eater. I wish I could hang out with real superheroes for a day.
NOTE: I used to have a website with character pictures, but it's no longer active. So, at the end of the first chapter of each story, I put a cast that would play the characters. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Another Tomorrow: Life wasn’t exactly perfect for Elyse Huntington. She was dating the school’s quarterback and was part of the popular crowd, but that didn’t make it easier to get through high school. Once she saves someone from an attempted suicide, she decides that she wants to get to know the guy who didn’t even have the decency to thank her for saving his life. Will Elyse continue to try to break through Ryder’s guard to save him from himself, or will he end up saving her?
Back to Bluewater: After getting engaged, Roxanna decides to visit her hometown of Bluewater to tell her family in person. During her visit, she runs into the man she once loved long ago. Will she choose to go back to the city to marry her fiancé and continue to work her way up the career ladder, or leave all of that behind to move back to the small town she was so eager to leave ten years ago?
Rules to Live By: I've always been known as the "nice girl" ever since I was a child. Now I've definitely done some not so nice things in my life, but overall I suppose I am a good person. I mean, I've dated the same guy since the sixth grade, I usually do whatever I'm told, and I'm there for my friends at all times. However, my polite manners and optimistic attitude is tested by a jerk, who happens to move into the same house I'm temporarily living in. To keep from going insane while being around him and going through other challenging circumstances, I've come up with rules to help get through life. I just hope they work against my newest enemy, Damien Stavros.
Art Class With My Enemy: I've never gotten along with Gage since he acted like a jerk to me for rejecting him as a child. Unfortunately, I'm constantly around him because he's my best friend's brother's friend. What's worse is that during my junior year in high school, I was stuck in the same art class as him because the school cut the dance classes. Now I not only have to deal with finding whatever way I can to practice dancing, but I also have to deal with surviving art class with my enemy.
High School Not So Sweetheart: During my senior year, I decided to make it my goal to date different guys until I found my high school sweetheart. Sometimes it takes many disaster dates and awkward situations to find that one perfect guy, even if he’s always been there to begin with.
I Dare You: To keep my mind off of being hopelessly in love in my best guy friend, my other three best friends came up with a plan of completing 20 dares by the end of the school year. Only, the plan didn't turn out like I expected it to. Then again, i guess I never thought about how my first dare would be to kiss a stranger, who was a well known playboy. He also just so happened to transfer from the local private school to the public high school. Lucky me.
Unknown Jealousy: The first time I met him, I was singing loudly and dancing weirdly to 'Under The Sea'. He thought my small Disney obsession was lame. I thought he was rude. If only I knew then that he'd be the one to join my brother's band, be there for me when my psycho ex-boyfriend came back, and who would somehow make me fall in love with him.
Always Outspoken: I had no say in moving to a new town, but it turned out to be better than I expected. I made new friends, screwed up my chances with the guy I liked, dated two other guys, and fought with my family constantly. It wasn't until I finally ended up with the guy I fell in love with when things started working out.
The Music Goes On: While playing my violin during my road trip across the country, I never imagined how many beautiful places were outside my small town. It took a huge change in my life to get me to leave, but I was lucky enough to see overlooked towns and meet amazing people. For example, I met musicians such as Chloe, Noah, and, especially, Caleb.
