Reviews Matter

Any true author puts their heart and soul into their work; some may spend hours even day's of their time working on a single chapter or revising an old one. Reviews help the author, whether they involve corrections on grammar mistakes or confidence boosters and good ideas for the story when the plot lags. Even flames help an author to get ready for the harsh critics. Reviews are important to any story, and every author.

We authors post our precious stories on this site for people to read and tell us what they think. We post them to help our own writing skills; to expanded upon our story ideas and make them better. However, how can one revise a mistake in grammar or spelling; how can they make their story better when they have no one to tell them what they can't see themselves? Reviews matter. Wouldn't you want someone to at least leave some form of comment, on a project you put so much time and effort into?

About me :

I aim to be a the successful author of many books and this is my starting point. I really hope all of you like my stories and if you don't tell me why so that I can improve. I know I'm terrible at grammar and spelling but I'm working on it. When/if you find any mistakes please tell me and I will try to correct it.

Okay so I got all of that said/written/typed well I hope you enjoy my stories and give some positive feed back.

My stories:

A song without Words: Complete

I felt the need to try something different, after seeing the same basic romance plot over and over again. This is also a way to improve my character development. Honestly this was a little on the sad side, but I loved writing all the emotions and thoughts of the father. It is the first story I've even shown to people outside of immediate family and a good friend, and thus it is my pride and joy.

Summery: It is a classic story about star-crossed lovers with a major twist. It's from the fathers point of view. Read what goes through his mind, as he try's to separate the two young lovers.

The Jewel of Lacle: In Progress

*Until further notice I am taking this story off the site so I can work on it. I've made some major changes to the story and am doing some large edits to the chapters I had up here.

Summery: The Jewel of Lacle is a fantasy story that takes place in the desert country of Nubori, controlled by the Empire of Grudaise. A thief called Shanti is hired to steal a legendary jewel that can grant any wish. However things aren't always what they seem, and when he meets Clea a guardian of the Jewel; he is thrown into an age old battle between light and chaos. Things take a turn for the worst as the Empire of Grudaise takes interest in the two.

Shanti must make the ultimate choice while faced with his own fears before it's to late, and the world falls into chaos.

The Legend of Los: Complete

This has been on my computer for Lord knows how long and I finally found it and gave it a read. I was surprise to find that it was actually completed and a fairly solid story with a character I really like. Go figure. Maybe I should organize my folders better so this doesn't happen as annoying often as it does... Anyway The Legend of Los is the unofficial backstory for the creation of the Jewel of Lacle before I changed it.

Summery: Basically it is about the goddess of intelligence Los as she tries to mend the ever growing gap between the humans and the gods during a time when they both resented each other. Through the use of clever manipulations and a sea full of lies she manages to trick her fellow immortals in hopes of once again opening the gates of heaven and earning the faith of mankind back.

The Sage: Complete

Summery: This is in the same world as The Legend of Loss, though it takes place much later. Really its just a small little Legend about a man who sought knowledge and was hurt by its sheer magnitude.

The First Time: Complete

It is based in the same world as The Jewel of Lace and was suppose to be a full story, however I lost my notes and life got in the way so I ended up forgetting about it. I might post some more one-shots revolving around the plot-line and scenes I remember from my planning, but its probably going to be a while till I attempt to actually sit down and write it out fully.

Summery: It's young Leal's birthday and he is forced to attend the princes birthday party which happens to be on the very same day. Despite it being his first time in the castle and seeing the prince he is upset he can't spend it at home. When he and his father arrive, they realize that their sudden invitation had be a joke as they were shamelessly ignored and laughed at for attending. Leal learns more about his father and reason behind their families current negative standing with the rest of the nobility and realizes just how much of a hero his father really is...

The Arwin Adrian Chronicles: On Hold (not posted yet)

Alright so this idea has been nagging me for a while now mainly because I am sick and tired of seeing wimpy vampires and those ever so annoying love triangles that has been populating the young adult section of my bookstores and library. This was thought up in spite; the three main characters form a hate triangle instead of a love triangle and the vamps. are a mix of several different legends, the mafia, and my own ideas. In time I actually started to really like the idea and the characters. In fact I liked them so much that I continued to build on them and the history behind the plot and other minor details without actually writing the first chapter. T.T I'll get it type soon-ish I hope...

Summery: Arwin Owns was perfectly content with her normal life when a sudden unfortunate event literally ruined her world. Now with her parents dead and herself mysteriously unharmed, despite being in the same car crash, she has to adjust to another twist in her now not so normal life. Apparently Nathaniel Adrian decided that she'd make the perfect heir for his position as Vampire Lord of the Adrian family of vampires. With the help of her best-friend, Nick, and under the suspicious eyes of his twin brother, Garret, she must learn how to control her new found abilities before she becomes a danger to all the people she holds dear.

Dimension Jumpers: In-Progress ( Sort-of)

This was another one I found on my computer while going through my files, however it wasn't in as good as shape as the others so I took some time to edit and continue with what I had. I actually love this idea and the more I read over the chapter the more I remember where I was planning on going with that story. There is a good possibility that I'll pick this up again at a later date.

Summery: Alex is an anti-social bookworm with a longing for adventure and an inability to express himself leading many people to think he's emotionless. When his father and new girl-friend come over and subsequently start fight with his mom he slips out to visit his favorite book-store. However, his troubles multiply when he stumbles upon a strange gold fountain pen and his fathers girlfriend tries to kill him. After being saved by and odd stranger he is told that he was chosen as a recruit for Otium and can no longer live a normal life. Despite this being exactly what he wanted he can't help but feel unhappy and scared as he steps into a different dimension filled with danger, mystery, betrayal and a secret that might very well be the end of him...

The Legend of Los
Before the birth of Los the gods were distant from man. It was a hard time for humans. With their gods not bothering to answer simple prayers the people had no one to turn to for advice, and slowly lost faith. This led to the gods losing power and refusing to grant even more prayers. In this never ending cycle the goddess Los was born.
