Author has written 3 stories for Romance. My stories on here will be just for fun, I do this out of my own boredom and spare time. Now, I don't really think my stories are that good. You've been warned My writing style/stuff that I don't know the word for: I usually want a lot of humor in my stories, I'm not really one for drama queens. At all. Seriously, if I wanted drama, I would go to school. (That's totally a big fat lie. I love reading stories with drama queens in them. I just can't really keep up that whole "negative" theme. (Is that even drama?)) Anyhow, when I'm trying to think up some ides for the next chapter in a story, I dream and then write stuff down in a notebook. Or my friends help me out, but they usually end up changing the plot of the story. (Ex: It Was Bound To Happen Anyway; I was supposed to make it a short story, but now my friend told me I should just focus on every 'date' Lex and Aaron go on. Okay, I keep launching into stories, so I'm going to stop.) Back to humor in my stories... I usually just write some joke-ish thing down and if I laugh, I keep it. If I don't laugh, I stare blankly and wonder why in the world I wrote it down in the first place. I kinda stopped doing that now, though. Now, I read the chapter to my friend and tell her to laugh when she finds something funny. So forceful, you might say. (But, hey, if it works, it works.) Now for the romance part: I focus on how my friends act when they like someone, it helps me out a lot in my stories. Like, instead of focusing on myself and how I act, I watch the actions of others. To me, personally, I like characters who are based on friends. (A couple of examples from one of my stories: Courtney is based on one of my best friends, Ally. They are both out there and don't give three flying fladoodles about what other people think of her Olivia is based on my other friend, Jasmine. They both are very quiet and have long hair. Even if Olivia's is fake. Katherine has a personality of all of my friends. Yes, even the ones who slap you, but love you again the next day. Avery is actually based on my brother's friend. I don't know how he got in there, but here he is.) |
