![]() Author has written 2 stories for Historical, and General. Hiya there! I don't know how in the world you managed to stumble onto my profile of all places since all I do is read stories on here, but . . . er . . . welcome? I'm Myth, nice to meet you. (: Ok, so no, I don't have anything up on here. It's not that I don't like writing stories, it's just that I can never finish them, so I refuse to put up any sort of story on here unless it's finished. I have a few of those unfinished ones over on FF, but I don't suggest reading them, because they're awful. (x I think I maybe "finished" one of those stories, and it was only 14k? Pretty sad. Tried setting myself up for a longer one, but I haven't finished it yet; only at 10k, and I have no will whatsoever to finish it because I know it isn't good. No, I don't just write fanfiction, either. I have started venturing into the realm of originality over the past few years. But much like the ones I mentioned, I just can't seem to finish them! I found one from a few years ago that I barely remember writing, fell in love with it again, and then never got past just organizing the information about the story since I didn't remember a single detail about where it was going. Oddest part was that I wrote the beginning and the climax at the end. So I know where it starts, and I know where it ends, I just have no clue about how the heck I planned to get there. That has to be the saddest fate for a story, to have a beginning and an end, but no path to follow, so it's in essence never told. I don't know, maybe it'll make it up here someday. Only a working title at the moment, but it's The Gray Wolf. And if you're shocked by my favorites list size, it's because I'm not terribly picky. XD If a story has one good scene in it that I think I may want to read again 5 years down the road, I add it. A good scene is a good scene, regardless of the rest of the story. Many of the stories on my favorites list are amazing stories that I have completely reread multiple times, though. If you're out of ideas for stories to read, I'd definitely suggest perusing my favorites. Generally, the longest and the shortest ones are the best (the former because I made it through a story that long, the latter because I bothered to read a short story when I prefer mid-lengths.) Hope you enjoyed this random blabbering of mine! |
