Name: Reema A

I've been writing since I've been 12, mostly fanfiction for escapism and more often than not self-inserting. I've also been using that as a way to hone my skill and I still always feel like I fall a bit short. I love the idea of story-verses, and in a way have created one in the privacy of my - what I like to call 'Story Diaries', I like to think about the history of the stories I am working on, the details, and the characters.

There are plenty of themes you'll see reoccurring here: Fantasy, escapism, Islam, and Magic... I'm not here to preach, I'm here to tell a story and write the kind of characters I've always wished I could find in the stories I used to read. I lean heavily into fantasy and often try to describe landscape as best as I can, I like things to be big... like more often than not I will try to insert something that's just incomprehensibly large (Like, trees... or buildings... or even dragons!)

I hope that this platform can help me improve my own skills and hopefully get thicker skin...
