About me:

Hi, my name is Muyany, or at least that is the name I go by online. This account has been created for the sole purpose of sharing my idea with everyone. The story you find below is the only one I will post here. For fanfiction you can go here: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1708148/muyany And for drawings, photographs and poems you should go here: http://
For some simple digital dress-up dolls representation of the On the Verge of Change characters, and some information on the characters, go here: http:///galleries/OtVoC

About the OtVoC:

Though the concept has been developing in my mind since at least 2005, I have only started working on it actively since begin September 2010. I am currently developing a lexicon, which will eventually contain all information on every subject in the story (20-10-10, 104 items) though not necessarily all information will end up in the final version of the story, the lexicon helps me think more clearly about the characters and their motives.
Because this idea has been almost constantly on my mind for the last five years, it is very dear to me and it is because of this I find it hard to present it to the public. Yet, I feel I am in need of objective feedback, as my friends -though I value their opinion- are rather biased. I am aware of one flaw: I describe the surroundings and thoughts too much, which makes it harder for me to write action or natural dialogue. Everything that appears on this site I consider an improvement however from my pervious attempts.
What you will find here are fragments. Currently only an experimental part of chapter one has been put online, this will probably be edited at some point in the future. The chapter itself will hopefully also be completed, though I can not say when. Whether I will post more afterwards I have yet to decide.
So please take the time to read and review.

The summary and characters of OtVoC:

Larivon is a second generation immigrant who is convinced that Annuar, the county his parents left behind, is a paradise compared to Tamor, where he is doomed to live on the periphery of society. After being falsely accused of murder and narrowly escaping death by hanging, he leaves home and wishes to trace his roots to Annuar. On the road he meets people who try -and sometimes succeed- to change his cynical view of the world, forcing him to let go of his values and certainties.

Set in a fictive world, all similarities with the real world are unintentional. I do not necessarily agree with the actions or words of the characters.

If you feel you need to know more about the characters or places, by all means ask. However, I cannot promise an answer as some things aren’t meant to be revealed yet, you can find some emperimental portraits in my deviantart gallery.
