And you have to take a five layer cake ... and smash it through the hole..." - Me! :P News: (last updated: 6/19/11) I'm pretty excited (and mystified). My story "Rainclouds" went on to the next round of competition. (The competition is nothing big, but I still didn't think it was that good, in fact, I think it's a bit choppy and confusing.) All the judges gave me a 5/5 for originality, keeping the reader's attention, touching emotions, and provoking thought. XD I'm hoping for a superior. Pray for it! -- I got an excelent! I think my rather bizaar piece did pretty well. And as I said earlier better than expected. I think my story was a bit confusing. I guess I should submit a story that doesn't provoke that much thought. XD I have been so swamped with end of the year school stuff. I'm soooo sorry! Since it is now summer (for me anyway) I now solemnly swear to update regualrly. :) (well, at least I'll try.) Oh, and just to let you know... Invisible is simply a prologue of sorts to a story I'm writing. That story is going to be an adventure because it is being written for a group of people. The shy, lonely, sweet, friendly DOORMATS. I don't know why, but I just feel as if I HAVE to write it. It isn't exactly my sort of story, but I feel I MUST write it. You see, I used to be a shy, lonely, sweet, friendly doormat, but I'm struggling to pull myself out of that rut. I'm writing to help those like me pull out of it too and to give them encouragement. :) |
