Author has written 4 stories for Sci-Fi, General, and Fantasy.

41 yr old, female, paramedic of 18 yrs, married (to a guy!) have traveled extensively and experienced life as much as possible since you only go around once, I think. I've been writing since I was 15, but life and work got in the way. I dropped serious fiction writing until Oct 2010 when the bug bit me again.

I'll read just about anything, anytime. Love movies, you name it I've probably seen it. I have an insanely good memory, which was nearly photographic when I was younger. Not always a blessing ... trust me on that. And many of my stories are germinated by dreams, very vivid, movie-like dreams. The bummer is I never get to see the endings, so I write them.

Fave Genres:

sci-fi, fantasy will generally beat out any other.

Fave Sayings:

"Art is not life. Life is not art. But the beauty and horror of the human condition exists between the two." - me

"The greatest sin any writer can commit is to be boring."

"You can do it all, you just can't do it all at the same time."

"Life is what happens when you're making other plans."

"Money doesn't bring you happiness, it brings you the freedom to find it." - me

"I thought you had the key!" - me

Fave Quotes:

It is almost possible to measure a writer's skill by the dexterity with which he repeats, and yet avoids monotony."

-English Professor George G. Williams, Rice Uni., 1935

Check out The Review Game in the forums, you give and receive in-depth reviews. It's great way to read other great authors and gain good concrit of your work!

Project Fiction [good fiction] is featuring my sci-fi 'Dreams of the Queen' as of 12/11! Per their quote: "This is a site dedicated to finding and praising those rare authors of fiction web sites who take the time to present their work diligently." Thanks, PF!

I have discovered a forgotten gem. I rescued it from an estate sale, and I'm in love with it. I highly recommend it to any serious writer locating this out-of-print book, "Creative Writing-For Advanced College Courses", by George Guion Williams- first edition 1935. He was a Houston Rice Uni. professor who died in 2000. I've only read 40 pages of 400ish so far and the man was BRILLIANT. This is a text book (with exercises) which reads smoothly, almost as witty as a novel. I googled it and located a few on Amazon, Abebooks and Albiris averaging $15. It will pay you back immediately. It is priceless. When they ask me who I'd wish to have dinner with: George Guion Williams will be number one on my list.

AS OF 9/15/11: I've written over 500,000 words for fan fiction and fiction press since starting 11/11 and just hit 125 author faves/alerts...wow!

I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!! THANKS!!!! And I always love to chat, so message me if you have any questions, etc.

Jinxedfiction where I stash some of my fan fic and most of my musings on writing.

Fanfiction/jinx1764 where all my fan fiction is posted. I write for Labyrinth and Linguini Incident presently. I have 18 fan fiction stories written as of 11/11.

I've gotten original work flowing through my muse again after so long an absence, and can hardly wait to get work posted.

I'm finally on DeviantArt, been dancing around that for awhile, so if you've just got to see my artwork which has generally nothing to do with my writing...

All work of mine is protected under the Creative Commons License. Don't copy. Don't plagiarize. It's not cool. If you would like to share my work or my characters, please contact me first and we'll chat about it. I write fanfiction; I know it's a fine line between copying and flattery. But I don't make any money from my work, yet. Though someday I would like to, so help a sister out. :o)
