Author has written 2 stories for Historical.

I'm Ebimeep (variations: Ebi, Meep, Meepers, etc). Hi.

I'm fairly new to fictionpress. A friend of mine introduced me a while ago and I've been stalking until I wrote something substantial enough to post. I like drinking tea and making friends and reading lists of words you would find most commonly in Jane Eyre and A Tale of Two Cities. I enjoy most types of music, including alternative, hip hop, rap, rock, classical, and pop. More specifically, such artists as Paramore, Vivaldi, Radiohead, Linkin Park, Hilltop Hoods, Sara Barielles, etc. The only music I loathe really truly is country. Bluegrass makes me shudder. I am an ardent fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Harry Potter. Movie-wise, I loathe the A:tLA movie and love the HP movies. I prefer conversing with people who have some grasp of basic grammar, and my friends have been known to roll their eyes quite vivaciously when I correct their verb tenses. I plan on marrying a funny-ass person, and enjoy Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes and Shakespeare. I don't think I could bear to exist in a world without chocolate or tea. I am fascinated by history and Asia, and read books on the Battle of the Somme and Islam for fun.

Stories

Just a Splash of Confusion - In Progress - NaNoWriMo 2010 - Romance/Humor - England, 1835 - Bit doesn't know much of anything. Jane and Tom are in love. Gregory is in love with (the idea of) Jane. Emma is in love with Jane marrying Gregory and being rich. Anna is in love with being in charge, for once. Freddie is in love with Anna. Angus is in love with sleeping. Lady Radcliff is in love with her one son (Gregory) marrying a good girl and her other son (Tom) going to jump in a lake. Vicky is in love with being Victoria and killing anyone with the surname of Radcliff. The Footman is in love with bashing some sense in to Gregory and then going on to ignore everyone else. James is in love with being in love with Bit. And Bit finally decides she is in love with Jane and Tom being in love and everyone else going to jump in a lake.

The Overwatered Violet- In Progress - A series of short stories about Violet Jessop, the young woman who survived the near-sinkings and sinkings of the RMS Olympic, RMS Titanic, HMHS Britannica, told by Miss Jessop herself.

30/12/10: Just took THIS: http:///writing/marysue.html - for Bit, from Just a Splash of Confusion.

Results: Bit is only a little like you. She is not at all cool; in fact, she thinks cool is a temperature reading, and when she says "Oh, I just put on whatever old thing's lying around," she means "on the floor, where I threw it last night - but I turned the underwear inside out first." There's never been anything special about her that she could see; boy, is she in for a surprise. She's had more than her fair share of hard knocks, and probably spends more time than she ought moaning about it. And she's gotten no slack from you.

In general, you care deeply about Bit, but you're smart enough to let her stand on her own, without burdening her with your personal fantasies or propping her up with idealization and over-dramatization. Bit is a healthy character with a promising career ahead of her.

WHAT A RELIEF. Bit's not a Mary Sue. :3

BUT I AM: Ebi isn't a character: she's you, or you as you'd like to be. She may be popular, or she may not, but no matter what she's impossible to ignore; she stands out... just the way you always wanted to. She may have sometimes thought that she was special, or destined for greater things, but probably dismissed the idea as a fantasy. She's had more than her fair share of hard knocks, and probably spends more time than she ought moaning about it. And you've been pretty kind to her, always ready to intercede on her behalf and give her a nice easy victory.

You may have let yourself get a little too close to Ebi. Maybe she's you as you wish you were, or maybe you're just afraid no one will like her and are trying to give her a free ride. Have some confidence in your writing! Ebi is a good character. Give her room to be herself before you stifle her.

2/9/11: I'm not dead yet!

Sort of.

(MONTYPYTHONPLZTHNXOKAY)

Anyway, we have snow, and more snow, and then no internet. :/ And lots of work. NOT A GREAT COMBINATION, LET ME TELL YOU. It leads to watching craploads of crap TV and writing very little and overdosing on tea. Anyway, I hope to update both stories fairly soon, and I have another one in the mumbo-jumbo stages of formation. It's like the good, the bad, and the ugly all wrapped up in one without the good, but I have hope. Little bits that float around when I finally get to bed at one a.m.

This is me trying to make an excuse for not posting.

5/25/11: Sadly enough, this is me making another crap excuse for not posting. I swear, I am writing, but Splash of Confusion has hit a little bit of a low, currently, where anything I write seems horribly OOC but (confusingly enough) far too much like everything else to be considered ay sort of new. Basically, I write and then delete. It's sad, people.

I am still working on my stories (Violet and Confusion) and I am still slogging through the ugly and bad bits of my new story. Basically, it will be about an POW camp in the US during WWII. I don't even know. I'm going to go cry now, bye.

Vintage People by rain-coat reviews
So, you've been accosted by a vampire, found out that you're slowly 'dying' and learned that your ex wants to kill you. In the end, it all boils down to one question: "Will you eat me?" ...Only to be told, "I don't eat junk food." Well, that's a relief.

Catherine had always so longed to marry for love. Ridiculous? Perhaps. Arthur Daintree had intended on making it to tea-time alive. Ridiculous? Certainly. A bit of Regency silliness. T for some minor stab-wounding.

Just a Splash of Confusion reviews
England, 1835: Bit doesn't know anything, and is suddenly vaulted from her pig-caring job on an obscure country manor to the matchmaker of the century. This is probably not genteel Tom's wisest move - but it should get the job done, right? Hilarity ensues
