![]() Author has written 7 stories for Romance, and Friendship. "Keep in mind that the person to write for is yourself. Tell the story that you most desperately want to read." Hi Everyone! A short introduction about me: Personally, I have a humongous amount of hobbies, but the few that would top my list would be reading, playing sports and listening to music. I have no preferable genre of music; I just listen to songs that catch my interest. I get inspiration for my stories from music, my surroundings and from constantly thinking of "what if" questions. I don't really have a favorite color or a favorite flower. In fact, I don't really have a favorite anything! I just like something if it appeals to my interest. Taylor Swift's song "Speak Now" came up and I started to mentally sing along with the lyrics. Then, while my mind was wandering, I wondered "what if the girl in song was paid to ruin the wedding"? Boom! The next few hours (and days), I became immersed in creating my story. And, thus, the Runaway Groom was born. Summary: Ivy was bored...and needed money. While living alone as a college sophomore, she comes up with a way to earn money. A plan that invovles helping those unfortunate grooms stuck in an arranged marriage. In other words, she helps them ditch their bridezilla. With the help of her friends, they all assist each other in crashing the weddings and fulfilling every soon-to-be husbands' and bachelors' dream- ultimate freedom. But, what if in their next scheme they somehow make a mistake? How would this affect their entire plan? There are only three words to describe this situation- Oh My Groom. Translation: We've got the wrong groom. Love's To Blame: Complete My first drama one-shot. I got the idea by mixing story ideas I came up with from the songs I was listening to. Plus, the fact that we are reading Romeo and Juliet in my English class right now. (I swear, those two characters can get so cheesy. It's kind of annoying.) P.S. I also got the story title from the song Love's To Blame by Joel & Luke. (No copyright intented). Beautiful song, you guys should listen to it. Summary: Valentine's day is a day of celebrating love. For Elena, it is a day of mourning. Not only is she single, but she is also alone on this particular day. But, that doesn't last for long. However, will she let a certain man entire her life once more? Or, is it too late? Status Update: Complete This is probably the most confusing one-shot I've ever written (based on the reviews). So, I apologize if you guys don't understand the plot. I'll try to edit, it'll be more understandable. Otherwise, I'll give you guys some background info. Kale and Laura are teenagers, around 17 years old. Laura's grandma faints at the park and a stranger, named Kale, helps bring her grandma to the hospital. At the hospital, they talk and become friends. The "status updates" happen over a period of time, in case you guys didn't know. So, when Laura, her grandma and Kale are at the wedding reception, it would not be the day after Laura's grandma gets admitted to the hospital. Confused, yet? I know how you feel. Anyway, this means Laura would be babysitting her cousin a few weeks after the wedding. Then, Kale and Laura would go to the cemetery a week later. I don't know if this helps or not, but I hope you guys will be less confused. Summary: Follow the tale of Laura's lovely love life (The 4 L's) as her experiences are broadcasted to the public through status updates. (I dare you to read it) By the Sea: Complete A short story written as a Halloween assignment for English class. For the most part, Snow White is not one of my favorite fairy tales. But, I found the story perfect for horror and supernatural retellings (though this story is not too big on horror...I hope). Summary: A story in which Snow White may not be the fairest of them all. The Yellow Brick Road: In-Progress I hope that I can actually finish this story (fingers-crossed). Summary: Lois Gage hates her real name. Lois Gage hates her mom (who she never met). Lois Gage hates Kansas the moment she steps on its soil. But a meddling orphanage director is the one who sends her there in the first place. And, with the little money that she has, she has no choice but to go to the town where her "mother" told her to go to in a useless note and find a job. But, everything is put on hold when she meets a man. A mysterious man with emerald eyes. A man who is kinda-sorta-out-to-kill-her-but-not-really. And let's forget the fact that said man is the reason why she falls (literally) into a new world through a tornado. Narnia? Hogwarts? Not quite. Not even close... POEMS: Kate: Complete A short poem about a wonderful friend of mine (whom I sadly don't see anymore). Her name has been changed to protect her identity. Summary:A girl lives her life the way she wants to. Her family disapproves. Yet she doesn't care. She follows her own path, the path away from conformity. And I can't help but admire her. |
