"Jason, what the hell are you talking about?" Ilena asked, sitting up in the bed folding her arms.

"Ilena...its just so much...I haven't told you. Back in my past. My people. My mother...father...sister...brother...all of them. Were murdered. I was spared because I didnt have fangs at the time. I had blood in me. My skin was warm."

"Fangs? Blood in you? Jason your scaring me..." Ilena slid off the bed silently and backed into the corner.

She was suddenly trembling, her heart assaulting her ribcage. She ran her fingers through her hair, staring at Jason's back. He turned to look her in the eyes. That's when she noticed it. His eyes were a greyish-brown. They sparkled in a way that eyes shouldn't.

"Ilena...I'm a Hybrid."

Ilena eyes widen before they rolled to the back of her head. She'd fainted.
