Wow. It's been...a very long time. Life very much got in the way. Waaaaayyyy back in 2012, when I last updated this profile and touched my pet story, The Beauty in the Beast, I was a mom of two young children, one of whom had many health issues. I published a short story in 2015 on this site under this profile, but never updated anything else.

I am now a mom of three children, two of whom have disabilities. I work full-time as a behavior therapist, part time as a freelance writer, and as-possible as a self-published author. I write...let's call them Gothic historical-fiction fairy tales, shall we? I also have an odd fascination with the macabre, so...there's that. :)

I have never forgotten The Beauty in the Beast. I lost all of my original work on it, but hope to pick it up again soon, especially now that I've finally unlocked this profile again (it involved the support desk, because I no longer have access to the original email account...). At the current moment, it's 3:30 p.m on Mother's Day and I suppose I should be pretending to enjoy the massively disgusting lunch lovingly prepared by my children, so I shall close this with:

One day, you'll be old enough to read fairy tales again.
