Author has written 4 stories for Fantasy, Fable, General, and General.
I am in no way responsible for the quesadilla that is my avatar, no matter how mouth watering it is. Even if I wish.
Hoping to get some stuff posted soon, but I need to do lots of editing and probably some re-writing before I'll feel that I'm not putting crap up :)
My name is: Nichy. Or Nichole, but Nichy is what I go by.
What half of the human population do I belong to: Female
Where do I live: Oregon, although not of my choice... (please don't be a stalker *watery eyes*)
What do I look like: I'm not photogenic, so for my sake and the sake of the world...
Devourers of my spare time: Homework, reading, trying random food (I'm a lactose intolerant vegetarian), swimming, reading manga (no, I am most certaintly not a rabid fan girl! pwomise pwomise pwomise!), writing (when I'm not crushing myself with self-doubt), web surfing, web design (I do website design for peeps! Pro bono! Contact me if you're interested and we can work stuff out!)
Food favorites: Chips that are not made from potatoes, quesadillas (even if they do upset my tummy...)
Movie faves: (note, I am as a general rule not a movie fan... eheh...) That Darn Cat, Iron Jawed Angels, ... (white noise)
Tunes I listen to: Roxanne Emery, Coldplay, I like pop/alternative sort of stuff, nothing too mushy, Plain White Tees, Jason Mraz
Books that I hold close to my heart: Captain's Fury by Jim Butcher, Princept's Fury by Jim Butcher, The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan (you can't deny that it was good... even if it went downhill... :'( ), Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce, Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder, Kitty and the Midnight Hour by Carrie Vaughn (top three, definitely), Gamer Girl by Marianne Mancusi (like it better than her vampire stuff), Nine Lives of Cloe King by Celia Thomson (one of my favorites!), Magyk by Angie Sage, Live and Let Shop by Michael P. Spradlin (to my annoyance it seems that after book two he's given up writing the series and left it to Tokyopop to ruin it into a manga. One of my favorites!), When Lightning Strikes by Jenny Carrol (that's Meg Cabot, too)
Series that I grab my attention: Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews
Authors that I love more than my cat: Tamora Pierce, Karen Chance, Jim Butcher, Carrie Vaughn, Brent Weeks (really dark writer, but so much hope, too! worth a look, but would call it M/M, so be prepared for some very bad stuff)
Even if most of my reads list seems to be Chick stuff, I am not a femmy-fic lover, just restrained by what my library contains. Not a big Urban fiction fan, but I do like good stuff. High fantasy and its cousins are what tickle my tummy the most!
I enjoy reviews, I love critiques, and a flame is ok every once in a while. Be gentle, okies? (Although I would love a good combing through of my stuff sometime!)
WRIP(Without Rest-In Pieces)
HIATUS!Frank Heward did as best as he could to avoid conflict, but when one night he is run over and, well, did he die? Now he must find his killer to protect his brother from a reporter who does not know how far is too far.
I have summaries of stuff that I'm planning to post soon up on my site :)
