Short biography: Writer from America. Grumpy insomniac. Working in computers. Reformed hipster.

Genres: Sci-Fi, General, Thriller, Fantasy, Horror, and almost anything as long it's not Romance.

I generally go more for science fiction, horror, and my favorite stories have both.

I like a lot of hard science fiction and some stories with science soft enough to spread on a bagel.

I hate the Romance genre.
I think it's stupid, and usually written stupidly by people (mostly girls) that are stupid.
(Actually being honest here I don't exactly hate it and don't get the big deal with hating it. It's just much harder to get me to like reading or editing for any of it. So congratulations anyone who does.)

Because I am an obsessive who doesn't sleep, the story you view today will have been edited, tweaked, fixed and whatnot multiple times by the next week. Feel free to pitch in during the process.

I had a good English teacher, and I am irritated by people who not only can't do English writing well despite having online spellcheck/grammar checkers and beta readers available to them, but if you also refuse to improve I feel I have a right to hate you. Trying to use excuses rather than do any of the things I just suggested is even worse.
I will not be nice to you.
With all that I probably sound like a douche (I am), but I can generally tell when you are making an effort, and I will always praise writers who are trying to get better, just like I was at the start. (The evidence of this incredibly rocky process has conveniently been deleted.)

Reviewing

I'll just be honest with you; I think 98% of the content here is garbage (because most of it is Romance and variations, and also the infestation of stupid brats who can't write as if this was f*cking Wattpad), and I will tell you if I think that includes your work. I'm not going to just say that, I have to mention why I think it is. Try not to cry. You can go ahead and do the same with my work, maybe we can improve each other. I'll try not to cry.

Of course I'll also tell you if I think it's the 2%.

Being reviewed

I hold myself to the same standard as when I am reviewing other people. If there's a typo, my research is wrong, or it just reads bad to you, then say so.

But be specific.

I can't do anything with, "It's bad."
You may as well just write some farting noises and f*ck off if you're going to be useless and vague. it's just as helpful.

I am here because I love writing and want to improve. I review because I want to help others improve and also because I am a pedant/anonymous Internet jerk.

I constantly go over my work to see what I can fix, what I can do better, and the criticism usually helps because even I can't find all of the mistakes. That's why I publish here; you are a different pair of eyes.

I am also an available beta reader, hint hint.

I haven't written in ages (I'm sure it shows) and I need to practice at writing and being told when it sucks again.

To my followers from 2011-2013: Sorry if I deleted a story you like. I don't believe in preserving old work for nostalgia's sake; I've never been sentimental.
