Are you here to learn about me or my stories? How about I tell you a little about both?
As a person, I can be calm and introspective, as well as bubbly and chaotic. I'm currently nineteen and in my first year of college, and one would think that means I have less time to write, however, college has forced me to write as a stress reliever. Most of what I write doesn't end up on here, because I want the first time someone sees my prized work to be in the binding of a book. I may share my stuff with family and a few close friends, but overall, I don't want strangers reading my novels until they're published. Sorry, strangers! Anyway, because of this internal battle, the things that end up on here are my less worthy work. It's not terrible (at least I don't think it is), but some epic story that could cause a new fandom to emerge isn't hiding on this page.
The Story Behind my Stories
I Scream for Ice Cream: Just a short poem I wrote after getting my wisdom teeth removed. I was drugged, yet still in pain, and I wanted ice cream. The result: this poem.
Three Simple Words: This story arose from my dislike from a boy back in high school. My friends were convinced I had a crush on him, and I thought that would make a good story. Note, though the plot line derived from my life, it is in no way shape or form, ANYTHING like my life.
The Lie of Friendship: This story was written because I grew up using the phrase "Best Friends Forever (BFF)" while my little cousins argue that it's cooler to say "Best Friends For Life (BFFL)". As a rebuttal to their arguments, I wrote this story.
The Soldier's Promise: This was the first short story I wrote. I have no idea where it came from, but it's there.
