Sometimes I just wish we could say all the things that are easy to hear
Ignore the injustice we see and explain every unanswered prayer
But I'd rather speak honestly and wear a tattered heart on my sleeve
'Cause in the middle of my broken dreams, redemption is here

And I'm still a dreamer, a believer
Oh, I've lost my faith in so many things, but I still believe in You
'Cause You are the answer, the redeemer
Oh, I've given up on too many things, but I'm not giving up on You
'Cause You can make anything new...

- Sanctus Real, "The Redeemer"

Hello! My name is Rhea Ceres Varuna, but you can call me Rhea. I have recently obtained a FictionPress account for my friends who want to see some of my original work. As a general rule, my original works don't get posted on the internet, but I do I have a few stories I'd like people to see.

I may be new to FictionPress, but I am certainly not new to how the site works, having spent the last three or so years over on FanFiction.Net honing my skills. I do love FFN. Interestingly enough, back when I first logged on to FFN, it took three days for them to send me my activation email. It took FP here all of about five minutes.

My hobbies are reading, writing, surfing the 'net, and listening to music, particularly rock and techno music. I love all sorts of animals, and I enjoy a lot of Japanese anime. My avatar is from Abort73.com.

Some of you may have known me under a different pen name. My previous pen name was a name that I had hoped to use in a story but was unable to. In the sequel, however, I was able to utilize my pen name, so I had to change it on FictionPress. My new name still comes from my love of things from among the stars, though. Rhea, besides being a name that I like personally, is the name of both a moon of Saturn and an asteroid. Ceres is a heavenly name, and Varuna is both the name of a Trans-Neptunian object and a Hindu water deity (which I found especially fitting, as my element is water).

A NOTE ABOUT REVIEWS: Because I don't want to waste time explaining this in my reviews anymore. I do not flame people, but if I see a problem in the story that need to be fixed, I'll tell you about it. I give Constructive Criticism when necessary. Please don't interpret that as a flame, alright? Thank you.

Please enjoy the stories, and if you read one, please drop me a review and tell me what you think. I adore getting feedback on stories, and I have turned on the anonymous review function on, so you don't even need to have a site account to leave a message.

Have a great day!

Rhea

"I built a bridge across the streams of consciousness
That always seems to be a-flowing
though I don't know which way my brain is going
On the rhymin' and the timin' keeps the melodies inside me
And they're climbin' 'til I'm running out of air.
Are you prepared to take a dive into the deep end of my head?"
