I'm Amy and this is where I will be posting my stories. I live in Canada, but plan on travelling around the world. So far I've been to Scotland, Ireland, Germany and France. I love historical romance; my favourite stories take place between the 12th century and the 19th century.

Some of my favourite books are The Witch of Blackbird Pond (Elizabeth George Speare), Harry Potter (JK Rowling), Howl's Moving Castle (Diana Wynne Jones), The Infernal Devices (Cassandra Clare), The Theif Lord (Cornelia Funke), Anne of Green Gables (LM Mongomery), An Earthly Knight/To Dance at the Palais Royale (Janet McNaughton), The Hunchback of Notra-Dame (Victor Hugo) and The Time Traveler (Caroline B. Cooney).

"The Legend of Luciana's Watch"

Luciana's parents died when she was seven, leaving her in the care of her hateful uncle. When he catches wind that business is better in the new world, he drags them off to set sail. When Luciana thinks that things couldn't get any worse, the man who her uncle wants her to marry, Oliver, decides to join them on their journey. Soon Luciana makes friends with Mrs Rogers, the captain’s wife, and a handsome sailor named Jonah who she is quite taken with.

Completed. (I’m planning on editing this sometime, but probably not in the near future.).

"My Life Now” [Complete]

Charlotte lost her mother when she was ten and her father is now in a sanatorium for consumption. When she is sent to live with her aunt and uncle, her mother’s family, she worries that her life will never be the same. Soon Charlotte meets the dashing Mr James Ashmore and the charming Mr Ben Strong, her cousin Phillip’s best friends. Must she choose between them? What about Harry, a friend from before she left her home?

In her new life she finds her first friend in Emma, her trusting maid, her second in Sir Thomas, her cousin’s grandfather, and her third in Jane, a girl her aunt disapproves of. With the help of her cousin and friends, Charlotte will have to go through balls, jealousy, lies, secrets, scandal and suitors.

Previously known as ‘Charlotte’s Story’, but now different (I started editing this story and I added and took some it away. I also switched it from third person to first person). I will not be posting in ‘Charlotte’s Story’ anymore. All the changes will be in ‘My Life Now’.

Here is a banner I've made for Charlotte:

Here is a family tree for Charlotte:

Here is a famly tree for Jane:
