"Let's just enjoy the awkward silence..."

Hello there! I'm Wren, a Celtic Pagan from Yorkshire (England) the place where rain was invented and the flat cap is considered a suitable item of clothing for all weather conditions.

I'm a write who has a lot of short stories and novellas hanging around on her hard-drive that haven't seen the light of day, which is a shame as they're fairly decent. I write novels about complex philosophical concepts and obscure, unknown areas of history.

I'm a self professed History Geek who specialises in: The Culture of the East End of London, 1850-1905; SOE and the French Resistance 1939-1946; The Warsaw Uprising; and The Ancient Celts, culture, warfare and religion.

I'm also a very busy woman, I have lots of different commitments that pull me in various directions and so if I seem to disappear for a while then don't fret, I'm not dead, I'm just swamped.

I should probably also say that I write about things that are quite contraversial, and have had some raised eyebrows in the past- but nothing I write is intended to cause offence, so if you find something that you are not happy about then feel free to tell me, but know that I never intend it to be that way. Other than that I shouldn't be writing anything too shocking.

If you want to know more about me, or just listen to me harping on about my mental health like an old lady about her bunions then feel free to check out my blog by clicking on the 'Homepage' link at the top of this page.

Also, if you have a request for a story, theme or setting you'd like to see then feel free to drop me a line and I'll see what I can do. I'm up for anything- except Sci-Fi, but apart from that, I'm up for a challenge!

Cheers,
