Welcome to my corner of the internet, reachable only to those that know it exists, or those who accidentally stumble here (possibly misdirected by Google/other inferior search engines). IF YOU WERE LOOKING FOR THE GLYCOPROTEIN AS A REFERENCE TO THE RECOGNITION MECHANISM OF MOST OF THE CELLS IN OUR BODIES ALONG WITH THOSE OF MANY OTHER ANIMALS ON THIS PLANET, PLEASE CLICK BELOW TO LEAVE THE RIDE: THIS IS ME! So, I'm Georgia, I'm 21 years of age, I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, and I'm insane. Literally. 10 fun facts about me: I adore Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games and the Conqueror series by Conn Iggulden I absolutely love video games (I once spent 9 and a half hours playing uninterrupted Fifa 10, and when I eventually went to bed and woke up the next afternoon, both my thumbs were swollen and I couldn't play for 3 days) I play recorder, clarinet, piano and I can sing (see my youtube links further down the page for more details) I am ridiculously ticklish I used to play football for my university team - football is still one of my favourite sports, and I avidly follow Arsenal FC on their Premier League escapades. I love to play 8 ball pool in the student union when time allows. I am very random, and tend to break off mid-sentence to say something along the lines of "Oh look! It's a _!" More often than not, the blank word is "cat" I love cats, but my mother won't let me have one I am a Scorpio I once decided to test how strong the ice on a pond was one winter after watching a friend put her hand bag on it. Descending into the pond with one knee fairly steady, I proceeded to fall in. My friend managed to heave me out between fits of laughter and get me to ASDA where I commanded her to "find me a towel, I need some new jeans." I then had to stand in the queue, soaking wet, and being laughed at by everyone in the vicinityIMPORTANT NOTE: ACTIVITY Due to Uni work and other commitments, I am not able to be on Fictionpress as often as I would like any more. I try my best to update when I can, although, like I say, I can't do it as often any more. Also, due to influences outside of my control, I am suffering from extreme writer's block, so even when I want to write, I find it incredibly difficult. I hope you can all understand. [18/12/15] UPDATE: My poetry is now pretty much exclusive to tumblr, so if you want fresher and better things, I'd advise you to follow me there! FILMS AND TELEVISION! Like any natural older-than-teenager person, I love television and my favourite/ the latest films (including the popcorn, pick and mix and other delicacies available to the skint student at the cinema). So I'm a real nerd. Not one of those people who have bought on of those (ridiculous) t-shirts with NERD or DORK emblazoned across the chest (no offense to you if you possess such a garment... awks...) TV includes: Supernatural Sherlock (BBC) The Following Hell's Kitchen Only Connect Top Gear The Apprentice (inc. You're Fired!) Russell Howard's Good NewsWe have also been known to enjoy the odd episode of "Snog, Marry, Avoid?", but shhh! That's our little secret, so don't tell anyone! My favourite films are almost (almost being the important word of this sentence) all disney/pixar films. A few of my favourites (not all disney films) are listed below: The Day After Tomorrow The Hunchback of Notre Dame Up Now is Good The Harry Potter Series The Hunger Games Series Sister Act Rent (I adore the original musical as well as the film, along with the opera it was based on, La Boheme by Puccini) Shrek (fun fact: I know almost the whole script from the first movie by heart. And no, I have not watched it a million times)Music So I adore all kinds of music. I'd say I have a pretty eclectic taste. Listed below are a few of my favourite songs: Placebo - Twenty Years Alicia Keys - Fallin' Barcelona - Get Up Avenged Sevenfold - So Far Away Three Days Grace - Last To Know (fun fact: I can play the instrumental to this on piano!) Birdy - Shelter Sum41 - Blood In My Eyes Disturbed - Down With The Sickness Red - Already Over (part 2) J.S Bach - St Matthew Passion John Tavener - As One Who Has Slept Howard Shore - Evenstar Ludovico Einaudi - Oltremare Gregorio Allegri - Miserere Mei, Deus (fun fact: I sang this piece twice with the chamber choir at my old school) Pietro Mascagni - Ave Maria (fun fact: I sang this piece in summer 2011 at St Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna, whilst on tour with the music department at my old school)... I think I'd better stop now! I could literally go on forever, music is just such a huge and important part of my life, and these musicians and songs listed above, among many others, have inspired (in my opinion) some of my greatest pieces to date. Anywho, as mentioned above I do have a youtube. I don't really update very often, so I hope you can be content with what's there!

Please keep your hands and feet inside the car until the ride has come to a complete stop!
