What can I say about me? Well, I am a twenty-six year old who enjoys a myriad of activities such as writing, playing piano, spending time with my husband and dogs, and reading books. Writing since third grade, I have always had a knack and love for creating stories and reading them as well. Although, I appreciate constructive criticism; there is a difference between tearing down someone with hurtful and unnecessary remarks and building them up with beneficial advice. Therefore, I do not support flamers in any shape or fashion, for it is not necessary to 'bash' or 'de-value' another being. I have a degree in Criminology and because of my interest and future in this field, much of my writing will entail a police/interrogative/criminal theme. Much of the crime that I write has been observed in movies, media, or serial killers that I am familiar. I realize the value of reviews, so if you are to leave a review, I will kindly return the favor. I pray that you enjoy my writing, for I love to write for your pleasure. Do not be afraid to leave me a note, detailing what you liked or disliked...or even what you might want to see happen. I am a very vocal person cyberspace-wise. Stories that I read usually entail a good plot, round characters (some static ones are fine), decent to excellent grammar, beautifully developed syntax, and creative phrases/descriptions. If you would like to know more about me, feel free to ask! Enjoy my works!
Guardians of the Night: Her brother is a werewolf. Her best friend is a witch. And she is simply a human. Life is normal for Elizabeth Waterford, well mostly normal, in a world filled with werewolves, vampires, and witches. She enjoys her life until rogue werewolves interrupt her peaceful existence and bring the Enforcer to her doorstep. With her brother's life in danger, Elizabeth must find her inner strength and work with the terrifying Enforcer to save him. And she starts to think maybe she isn't as human as she believes...
"He who walks with the wise grows wise." (Proverbs 13:20)
"Bad company corrupts good character." (1 Corinthians 15:33)
It is a great consolation for me to remember that the Lord, to whom I had drawn near in humble and child-like faith, has suffered and died for me, and that He will look on me in love and compassion.
What you are, you are by accident of birth; what I am, I am by myself. There are and will be a thousand princes; there is only one Beethoven.
A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.
I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
Kindness is the language in which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
A man may well be condemned, not for doing something, but for doing nothing.
The tragedy of life and of the world is not that men do not know God; the tragedy is that, knowing Him, they still insist on going their own way.
You see many stars at night in the sky but find them not when the sun rises; can you say that there are no stars in the heaven of day? O man! because you behold not God in the days of your ignorance, say not that there is no God.
