Hi there and welcome to my profile...

I'm an aspiring writer (aren't we all?) of both fanfiction and standalone fiction.

In relation to my pen name, 'Duchess Dramione', the first comes from both Duchess, the cat off The Aristocats, who I admired because she could be both attractive and yet motherly to her children (something I aspire to achieve) and my longing to tie in a title starting with the same letter as 'Dramione', the main shipping I do when I write Harry Potter fanfiction.

Speaking of which, I recently discovered Harry Potter, and have since fallen in love with it and am shunning the Twilight characters that I used to play with in my stories for the way more interesting characters of the Harry Potter Universe.

I ship almost anything, although I have some exceptions.

As far as fiction goes, I've only ever written one or two other standalone stories, most of the times discarding them to play with some pre-constructed characters who have more potential than mine.

I am a stickler for correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, but nobody's perfect, so typographical errors do occur in my stories, no matter my efforts.

I have a fanfiction.net profile, so if you're interested it's under the pen name 'cosugimmebutterflies'. Yes, the name attracted me when I was younger when I had this insane liking for the Michael Jackson song, thanks to my twin introducing it.

My music taste sometimes affects my writing, but I'm not into song-fics or people singing in their stories unless the characters are actually singing in sentence style, and not in stanzas. I know, weird, but as aforementioned, I am weird.
