Hi I'm Douglas Leon Michael or DougieM, feel free to call me Douglas or Doug. I'm an University student (as of September 2014) and I like writing. I'm a Harry Potter and Morganville Vampires fan and attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Go Gryffindor!
I am a very busy university student now (BSc in Psychology) so time between stories/chapters/poetry etc being uploaded has increased but it's only due to how busy I am with assignments and society stuff. I'm in the Psychology Society and the Creative Writing Society and the LGBT Society because why not? I will try to upload when possible, although the time that I have for writing is currently limited due to how much I have to do. Updates related to my writing will most likely posted on my Tumblr.
Other websites I am on:
Pottermore - Spellchaser8395 before all accounts got deleted and the site changed.
Fanfiction.net - DougieM - https://www.fanfiction.net/u/3324953/
“And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”
I am working on a story, Number 17, thank you to both sootyphoenix and mylilblackpen, my informal beta readers of sorts for helping with editing and giving me constructive criticism on the first chapter, without whom I probably would have given up on it there. Thank you to those of you who are willing to put up with the long waits between chapters but busyness and life have been getting in the way. I've done Chapter 9 now and uploaded it. I will update when I can but as I previously mentioned, I'm very busy with university stuff and have limited time to write.
"What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient... highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed - fully understood - that sticks; right in there somewhere."
