I'm always surprised by how small and sweet the FictionPress community is. I was feeling particularly risky and decided to scroll through the reviews on a friends story, select a person by random and read one of their stories. I chose a name I hadn't seen before (at least I thought I hadn't seen it before) and I look at their projects and bam! there was my all time favorite story on this website. I came across that years ago from a recommendation of a reviewer on one of my stories. That was amazing! I'm honestly probably going to go and read it again right now (despite the fact that it was written in 2007) because it's complete and I've probably read that one a dozen times!
Some things you should know about me?
I'm a twin! That's a link to her profile, if you wanna check her out! Most of her stories and poems are rather old, but her most current one, Miss Mary Mack is amazing! 10/10! :)
If you ask me a question about Avatar: The Last Airbender (not Legends of Korra because I'm still behind on that series) there is a 98% chance that I'll answer correctly. I remember insanely weird details from random episodes which is strange considering I haven't seen that show in 2 or 3 years. What I was trying to say with this bullet is that, if it's not a question about a characters name or an episode title, I'm likely to get it right!
I've met 2 authors, Natalie D. Richards who wrote 6 Months Late (AMAZING BOOK and she was SUPER NICE) and Derek Miller who wrote Norwegian by Night (which was also amazing)! I can not tell you how amazing it was to meet published authors and to get advise on my own writing as well as get a sneak peek into the writing and publication processes of different writers. I recomend you all go out and buy both books and read them because both Natalie and Derek put so much work into those projects and you can really see it! :)
I spend the majority of my time studying, reading, writing and, of course, playing video games religiously!
That's it, I suppose. I'm not that interesting, sadly!
At the moment, I'm kind of experimenting with my writing. Stories probably wont be showing up here any time soon because I have a lot of trouble sticking with a project unless I'm really really really interested in it, which rarely occurs (I usually get too emotionally invested with the characters and have a hard time killing them off, which is bad because I firmly believe that death builds up the story) and I lose interest. Currently, I'm working on a bunch of short stories that are not at all interesting and basically let me know if I enjoy writing in that genre.
Believe me, you don't want to read them!
